On Alliance I usually gravitate toward NE, Draenei, Worgen & Dwarves. VE too but only for Priest because the Shadow Priest fantasy is pretty solid for them, otherwise I’d rather play the taller/buffer purple elf variety.

Horde-side I usually opt for Trolls, Goblins and more recently Vulpera (so cute!). I also have a Nightborne Mage who is just mwah! :ok_hand:

I went with NE for Nithae’s race change thinking I’d probably want to get the heritage armor, only to read the announcement about Man’ari! :sob:

I was thinking of adding a Nightborne to my character list. I really do like them and their heritage armor is pretty cool. It would totally fit a hunter or magic class. But now I also wanna main a Man’ari Hunter too!

Ugg! The options are making me cry internally :dracthyr_crylaugh:

Nightborne does not disappoint! I will say though, they are almost so ethereal looking that most armor doesn’t quite do them justice. Their heritage is gorgeous, so my mage just kinda sits un-played because I just love looking at her on the character select.

I went through a phase of unlocking heritage armor for the allied races, so I have one of every allied race just hangin’ out at 50 with their respective heritage that I never play. It’s just my fun lil’ character gallery.

I love having options, but I’m so notoriously bad at making decisions which is why poor Nithae plays race-change musical chairs most of the time. A Man’ari Shadow Priest has been on my wishlist for a while though, so she’ll probably end up a Draenei sooner than later and I can unlock the NE heritage on my monk instead.

Liking everything is a blessing and a curse. :dracthyr_lulmao:

My OCD is super bad, so like, having a ton of characters just freaks me out. It’s why I just race change when I want to play a new race, because I just can’t handle juggling multiple max level characters.

Which is why I’m thinking of keeping Rah as a vulpera and deleting my other character and making a Nightborne warlock. Since all the new customizations can be soloed at like 49-50. So I don’t loose out on anything. Plus I’m generally terrible with melee characters anyway

Ugh, I feel that. I only have about four max level characters on Moon Guard and a bank character (Mechagnome in heritage) that I pop between when I want a different vibe. Every other character is on WrA as my aforementioned ‘gallery’ when I get the itch to have some short-lived immersive experience leveling a random toon. (That I often just prompty delete when the hyperfixation wears off.)

My problem is that I never want my ‘mains’ to be the same race. So if one is a NE and I want to play Nithae as a NE… I pay for two race changes. :expressionless: Wish I was not like that but alas, if I DON’T do it that way it makes my brain itchy.

That’s a good idea! Nightborne Warlock looks amazing, I’ve been tinkering with a Draenei lock as well but haven’t had a ton of time to really dig in, the little secret hunt for all the different demon appearances seems super fun though!

How’s it going today guys so far this month.

Better than average.

Though my magpie instincts are squeezing my “one of every race, one of every class per faction, then some that just look cool or are great characters” toon creation.

My roster is set, but man, some of the new stuff looks soooooo fun.

I’m glad it’s Friday! It’s been a hectic work week for me.

Also feeling extra stoked about recent WoW datamines, some of my favourite stuff being highlighted coming down the pipes, although now it’s giving me major analysis paralysis for what to do in Azeroth currently!

Weird month for me. I’m glad my health is at least better now as compared to the past few months, but work was pretty wild as well. I think I’m getting better at not letting things overwhelm me cause in the end I have to take care of myself and work will always be there no matter what I do.

I also finally went to watch GotG Vol 3 and it was… ok? I think the superhero format lots its appeal so to me there’s no “good” or “bad” with these movies anymore. They’re all tired but good enough for some nice popcorn and relaxation. I still think superhero cartoons are far superior.

I’m on season 5 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D now, which I think is a great underrated show. It starts as a normal spy show, then it gradually shifts to other genres, starting when what are essentially mutants take on the focus of the show, with Ghost Rider getting a paranatural spotlight for a time, then there’s an android arc that involves some of the characters getting replaced by them for awhile; these previous two examples happen in season 4, with the android arc being much better than a storyline like that should be and also being what I think is the peak of the show’s story quality. It starts going downhill in the season’s last arc, which is basically about the characters getting stuck in the matrix, and has no affect on the rest of the show other than one of the support characters getting killed. Then suddenly, in season 5, the characters are 70 years into the future onboard an Alien franchise spaceship since Earth has exploded and is structured as a dystopian society complete with its leadership having a Hunger Games competition to cull its population. The show has been really entertaining since it’s usually fun to see how the spy characters get out of the situations they’re put into, but at this point it’s went too far as it feels like something completely different and I’m wondering what this has to do with everything else that’s happened.

The new reveals lately are awesome and exciting time for fans of those races. I think I’ll remake my Draenei as a lock

Not that anyone cares, but I am catching up on SW Rebels in anticipation of Ahsoka. I found a really awesome discord for my new hyperfixation/ship. It’s been years of casually watching SW content but I think I am finally getting pulled back into the SW fandom.

It sucks about the writer and actor strike, it’s a shame the CEO of Disney is a really bad dude, who only cares about money. (that’s not a shocker)

Oh, and I am finally getting caught up on Andor, I still think it’s boring, but it’s a visual masterpiece.

I’m super excited for Asoka. We’re finally getting a live action Thrawn!!

I am a filthy casual now and didn’t realize you can use the Revival Catalyst to transform Forgotten Reach gear into Vault of the Incarnates tier.

So guess who spent half the day re-farming gear I vendored a month ago for transmog? :upside_down_face:

Any advise for getting good gear? my two mains are stuck at GS 313.

I think that change came with the latest patch to be fair. Don’t blame you for not knowing. And I’m probably a filthier casual. I’m still using some of my heirlooms because I spent a lot of money on upgrading and enchanting them and I refuse to stop using them

Definitely either Forgotten Reach or Zaralek Caverns. Zaralek has the better ilvl and upgrade capacity but I still feel like Forgotten Reach is worth doing because you have the opportunity to get tokens for any armor type off the rares.

I’ve just been spamming group finder for groups farming the rares, you can do the same for Zaralek as well.

If you want super easy peasy upgrades there’s an NPC in Forbidden Reach that sells ilvl 359 for Elemental Overflow which basically just rains from the sky in the Reach.

Unsure if Time Rifts are faster though, haven’t done too many yet.

Okay but some heirlooms are actually amazing for a while! I always have a hard time letting go my trinket heirlooms whenever I out gear them on a toon because I love their effects!

Hello everyone, decided to come back for a little while.

Well everyone I made a horrible mistake and relapsed.

It’s sad but true I’m afraid. After nearly six years clean I got back into that most expensive and life destroying of addictions, Warhammer 40k tabletop gaming.

Please keep me and my loved ones in your prayers during this difficult time.
