Essentially soloed this, but a shaman and a paladin came out at the last 6%.

TBH I’m feeling this more and more with every class lately. Even when they expand the race/class combinations or even with the addition of the Darkfallen skin they give barely enough representation for it to feel ‘legitimate’ in a story or lore sense.

Even my beloved Priest class feels stagnant, a class that I love primarily because of it’s wide array of interpretations across the races of WoW. I have waited SO long for an Orc Priest only for it to feel ‘meh.’ Don’t get me wrong, I love a good tentacley Cthulu moment, but that really only feels ‘right’ when I’m Undead or Void Elf now.

That being said though, I feel like the Dracthyr were especially ill thought out and a trope that’s honestly been beat to death in this universe. A forbidden race that was locked away for millenia to awaken at our time of need… yadda yadda… SNORE. How boring is that? Your whole characters backstory gets to be a giant multi-millenia nap after being busted out of a test tube to be used as cannon fodder. Not to mention, they’re getting really silly with these timeframes… 20,000 years? Really?

Not positioning the Dracthyr as Drakonid who have been living on the Isles and establishing a society in absence of the Aspects was a giant mistake. I’ll die on this hill.

I just find the newer classes so creatively unfulfilling.

Like with Warrior I’ve created characters who are everything from Vargul Berserker Skalds. Basically a giant undead warrior-poet who’s artistic genius sadly goes unappreciated as he’s a giant skeleton who barely speaks Orcish or Gutterspeak.

To a Rage-As-Insanity Void Knight who uses the voiceless whispers of madness beyond the stars to fly into a battle trance that makes him incapable of feeling pain, both emotional or physical, thus rendering him incapable of mercy as well.

With DK the best I could do is “Actually a Gen 2 Fallen Paladin DK who’s not-so-secretly a Cult of the Damned fanatic/undead supremacist”.

Get to Dracthyr and best I could come up with “Idk they’re like a historian?”.

Priest though I’ve been having fun with. What with all of SL’s BS I decided this guy is a Raven Cleric.

Essentially instead of using the Light and Shadow traditionally he uses a more Dreams and Nightmares angle to his magic. Since Priest already has a psychic vibe to it I think that works pretty well.

And let’s me RP two additional support characters; the white raven Einfall and violet raven Erinnerung. Thought and Memory auf Englisch. Based off Odin’s two ravens Huginn and Muninn from Norse mythology and given the personalities of;

So between the success of the Spiderverses, Everywhere Everything All At Once, and now this Speedster flick featuring Boomer Batman and Honolulu’s Most Wanted, I get the worrying sense that WoW’s going to try to do a multiverse expansion. In the same fashion they chase every successful genre’s coattails.

Extremely poorly and well past the point audiences have lost interest in the concept.

Additionally, I choose to believe this is how Alliance meetings go when the Mechagnomes are present;

I’ve been looking at the list of Sword Art Online Characters to find examples of Elf Characters and while randomly thinking of the Villain Death Gun(because he is a Sword Art Online Character despite not being an Elf) my mind recalled the notion of how Death Gun’s claims of power being to kill a Player in Real Life at the exact moment they die in real life and yet I’m unconvinced by such a notion.

No real power is the ability to attack through the Fourth Wall! To shoot out of the TV Screen as well as into it! Any widely broadcasted VR MMOs would find their Players’ Characters KO-d(forcing them to respawn) and their Real World Audience slain on the Real World Streets(I have seen the huge TV Screens broadcasting things to the Streets in quite a few TV Shows so this is not unprecedented)!

Back on the matter of Elf Characters. What Characters aesthetically are the pinnacle of Elfishness(they do not have to be an actual Elf but must embody the ideal of Elfness)?

Here are my picks(from Sword Art Online, WoW and LotR):

Asuna’s Undine form embodies the grace and swordsmanship of an Elf Warrior:

Any other ideal representations of Elfishness?

I was toodling around Stormwind waiting for the treasure goblin and…

I really wish that the big ole clock in the middle reflected the realm time instead of the clock face just being painted on (and painfully pixelly).

I love how well WoW’s old content holds up. It gives such fascinating insights into the lore.

Like apparently the Worgen War revealed High Warlord Cromush has an identical twin, also called High Warlord Cromush.

Both like standing next to the costs of war starring blankly into the middle distance but one of the Brothers Cromush loves occasionally wandering in a circle before returning to his vigil of nothing in particular.

What a rich and detailed world they’ve made for us. This doesn’t at all feel like a rapidly disintegrating amusement park where the animatronic is always lagging behind the ride cart by several minutes.

What is the best way to create a Jenova-based SOLDIER?

And yes I mean the Jenova from Final Fantasy VII!

There were 2 methods shown: Project Gillian and Project Sephiroth.

Project Gillian injected Jenova Cells into a Woman named Gillian and got her pregnant with Angeal then injected her Cells into into a Newborn Baby named Genesis. The results ended up with Genesis degrading while Angeal was stable despite those injected with his Cells degrading.

Project Sephiroth involved injecting Jenova Cells into a Fetus while it was still in the Womb. This was stable and a powerful fighter.

Can we produce another more effective Jenova Project than the two preformed by Shinra? I think so!

I personally would have had a special Project where the Undead Dry Bowser is floating in a tank containing a mixture of Jenova Cells and Mako them dump him into his resurrection pool making him revive with high Jenova traits!

The Ultimate SOLDIER right there! Give Jenova Bowser a copy of the Masamune and Sephiroth will be brought to his knees! Of course the same can be said for President Shinra who will be overthrown in a violent coup by Jenova Bowser wanting to rule the Planet himself.

So I made the always great decision to adopt a new puppy while heartbroken. She’s some mutt who was abandoned in Texas and I’m beginning to see.

I haven’t slept well most of this year. I know just the remedy. A shebeast of questionable at best origin. Surely this won’t turn my world into chewed socks and random torpedos to the crotch by an excitable gremlin of a dog”.

That’s awesome you saved a puppy. Atleast she’s happy in a home now.

Oh I’ve been rescuing pups for years. Grew up around an aunt that rehabilitated rescued fighting dogs. Volunteered at no-kill shelters.

The abused dogs are a HELL of a handful at first. But give it time. If you’ve the patience and experience to prove to them they’re safe here and they can trust you, you’ll find no more reliable and adoring companion.

Always have quirks though. This one hates hats. Or any headware. I presume some prick in a cowboy hat must’ve kicked her or something to that effect.

She was barking and snarling at me week one and I was so confused until I removed my bulky headphones then all of a sudden she was fine.

Poor thing. Dont even want to imagine what caused that reaction.

Pets in general seem to pick up weird quirks if they aren’t raised in a proper domesticated setting. My current cat grew up in a box in my yard while I befriended her over 6 months and even now she’s visibly stressed out by strong winds.

I think Blizzard is already chasing the multiverse trend with 10.1.5. It’s why we’re seeing various timelines. It’s the closest WoW can get to multiverse shenanigans.

To be fair, blizz has been doing the whole multiverse thing for a while now, via the caverns of time dungeons.

Long before the marvel movies made it popular

Sure, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that it’s subject matter we’ll be dealing with ingame soon.

True but it was always a fun little ‘What If’ aside.

Warlords of Draenor is what you get when you try to make that a whole butt storyline.

I did complain about Dragonriding races earlier, but it turns out they are actually quite fun. Well, most of them. Flashfrost Flyover Reverse is killing me.

To be fair, WoD did suffer from a lot of cut content late in its testing. It had the potential to be a lot better than what it was.

Still had its good moments though. Frostfire and Shadowmoon Valley were awesome

So here’s my current situation;

I’d already been flirting with the idea of buying a new dog. Because my eldest is only about ten but he’s getting long in the tooth and I felt some fresh blood would be good for both my dogs.

But then my youngest got that lymphoma diagnosis which would’ve been a bad time in any scenario but given what I already was dealing with it felt outright apocalyptic.

So obviously was not in the right mind to look after an extra living creature for about a month there wherein my eldest became very accustom to being the only child.

So now I’ve an exitable two month old puppy, and an over-the-hill, too old for this BS dog.

Yesterday was actually their first prolongued meeting. They were constantly aware of eachother. Set up a little doggy dimilitarized zone in my kitchen so her early training, which is the most important, wasn’t screwed with.

Unfortunately I may have kept her there too long as her reaction to her elder, and indeed everything, has been to just smack the crap out’ve it. And my eldest is looking at me like “You’ve got four seconds to get this thing off her before I bite her”…

So yesterday I played with the puppy for two whole hours until she seemed to be finally running out of energy then let out the old boy to play with her. This seemed to work. For awhile.

But she’s still viewing her much, much older brother as basically a walking ‘pounce on me’ sign.

So my home remains a border check point but relations are mercifully starting to cool. So that’s good but legitimately;
