The Infinite Dragonflight have a connection with Death it seems… It seems Murozond like the Nightmare, G’huun and Shadowmoon Clan is aligned with Death Magic…
The Infinite Dragonflight also seems determined to erase all AU selves just to make themselves stronger. They seem to have noticed how Krasus grew weak when in the same place as his past self and decided to kill their AU selves to restore their power.
In otherwords the AU Warlords were as powerful as they were(full fledged Raid Bosses) because their MU selves were dead! This brings troubling implications considering how weak AU Ner’zhul was… Why did MU Ner’zhul’s power not go to AU Ner’zhul?
Yaaaaaaaaaaaay. I’m officially on the other end of a self-imposed challenge! I didn’t let myself play any other PC games (besides helping my SO with Hearthstone dailies) until I beat the main campaign of Tropico 4, a funny little city builder on Steam. It was quite a lengthy ordeal! But I listened to a lot of great new music and podcasts during, so it worked out well. Plus it ran in the background as I did housework, like a little ant farm! Work, my pretties, woooork~!
There’s a big DLC campaign to do now, but I need a break for a bit. Gonna get caught up on some WoW stuff since eight-one-five is so close. Mainly finishing up the War Campaign for the Allied Race, and making plans for a full stable of fifty characters on my server. I’m thinking of playing a Dark Iron Mage, so I can zip around the world super easily~
Hoping for 8.2 information soon, too. I’m really interested in what they have planned for world content, and the new Azerite system. Plus maybe Allied Races? And flying. It’ll be nice to soar over Kul Tiras and Zandalar, and maybe it’ll finally get me to level alts lol.
Hope everyone is doing well, whether you’re actively playing or not. Spring is soon! Sunshine and flowers, aah. I can’t wait (◍•ᴗ•◍)
I get this, but I also remember one of Luke’s defining moments being giving into rage and going berserk on the father he was trying to save. This was after his transition into a wiser Luke who walked winningly into his father’s clutches, sensing that it would give him the shot he needed. The final battle of Return was marked with him glancing at his own hand, gloved in black. Him standing half in shadow. And then finally giving into rage.
He did choose the path of righteousness, he refused to execute Vader. But he gave in, in the moments before, before he pulled back.
The idea that a disillusioned, troubled old Luke would draw his saber in a moment of weakness didn’t strike me as untoward. Not for the man who nearly surrendered to the dark side in the throne room of the Death Star.
I think Nature is drunk. This winter was so mild, I’ve had hyacinths since January, and daffodils since December. Now, it’s consistently 15-20° every night.
I’m more than a month late responding to these posts, but Skies of Arcadia Legends was one of my favorite video games of all time. Almost half my lifetime ago I even entered a Nintendo Power contest involving Skies of Arcadia Legends and won a t-shirt for it. I have the physical issue still on my bookshelf, but you can also see my name here on page 123 of this archived copy:
When Vader kept goading him on by threatening to sithify his sister. Nothing is mentioned in the trash sequels about Luke’s “visions” concerning Kylo becoming a mass murderer like his grandfather. Only that Snoke was working his claws into him.
To think that Luke, who at the end of RotJ would rather die and LET THE DARKSIDE WIN by tossing his lightsaber away and fully trusting in that teeny little spark of goodness left within his wretched and twisted father rather than compromising his belief and faith, would take out and ignite his lightsaber against the BACK of his sleeping young nephew is asinine.
You would be a fool if you didn’t think that trash TLJ movie, from the way Ruin talked about Luke, from the interviews with newbie Lucasfilm employees with big red X’s drawn across old pictures of Luke on their desks, was gunning for a character assassination of Luke Skywalker in particular and the stalwart male hero trope in general.
You could make a film where Gandi didn’t die and instead went on a killing spree against the British and try to retroactively justify it. And sure, the mouthbreathing public could come along and enjoy the ride for what it is- a ride, but it wouldn’t change the fact that you were bludgeoning what made Gandi Gandi because you thought it was a cool thing to do. Character assassination is character assassination.
Enjoy whatever garbage Nucasfilms and Disney funnel down your eager gullet. I’m not having it.
So, I really need a new gaming computer, one purely for gaming and nothing else. My current one is outdated and trying to run raids or do much of anything where there are lots of spell effects and people is killing my FPS.
I bought a returned Razer laptop from their store for around 5-600, it plays WoW just fine (now if only my internet could keep up), so if that’s in your budget I would check in their returned/refurbished/deals section.
Appreciate it. I’ll look into the returned/refurbished/deals.
Looking more for a desktop under 1k. Should have been more specific in my post. I can go a little bit over, but I’m having to keep a close eye on the bank account until my writing career is solid (still trying to build that fanbase).
I do want to run on the highest settings possible, too. Oh, and a SSD is a must.
Have you checked out pcpartpicker(dot)com yet? Loads of utilities there where you can build your own PC as well as follow guides on what you want to put together. When youre picking your parts, it automatically checks to make sure everything works together. Also, it lists prices from companies around the net so you can see if there’s a sale on a particular part, who has it the cheapest, etc.
Built two computers from there myself, cant recommend it enough!
Had a long weekend (practically a week) with just the bf and myself. Over the course of which, I introduced them to FFXIV, instead of catching them up on WoW, as was planned when this staycation type thing was originally ironed out.
I finally found something in which WoW comes out ontop of FFXIV. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m still using my tiny little coeurl kitten, but I just recently noticed I can’t have my vanity pet, and my mount out at the same time. And also, I can’t name my pets, as far as I can tell.
I tried doing FFXIV with Dahar, but he couldn’t get past the early game. It’s poorly designed for group play early on, and it constantly required that we drop our group to do solo story quests.
My ‘eager gullet’, huh? This thread isn’t for argument so I’ll settle for informing you politely that my charitable interpretation of this one detail is not some blanket statement of approval for the movies.
I haven’t really played with anyone else, since I’m really just taking my time, and enjoying the ride. All my boyfriend really did was watch me play, and mess around alot in character creation. I can really see where it’s not optimal for group play, though, with the MSQ being an almost constant stream of solo quests, and cutscenes/cinematics.
Oh, for sure! It’s been crazy inconsistent where I live too. A bit troubling, but on the bright side it’s made for some interesting weather phenomena (thundersnow!) and a lot more opportunities to use my umbrella~
FFXIV has the absolute best vanity pet design of any game I’ve ever played. My soul aches whenever I have to automatically put away my Wind-Up Nanamo or my Bom Boko. They are just so so cute I want to see them all the time!
Relatedly, FFXIV is currently having a Hinamatsuri in-game event, and one of the rewards is a flower crown, and you can transmog it year-round! And that’s on top of a heckload of other, non-event-related flower hairpins you can choose to transmog at any time. More like Floral Fantasy, am I right? : P
Though I do have a lot of fun in Guild Wars 2 even to this day, my most fun with it was back when they first had an event called “Super Adventure Box”, which was basically Super Mario in an MMO. My SO played with me at the time, and it was sooo much fun constantly falling flat on our faces as we grappled with the odd physics.
Speaking of fun things, I started embroidery today! It’s freakin’ really fun, guys. Kind of like drawing, except mistakes just add to the folksy look of it. For now I’m just working on tutorial-tier flower and pattern stuff, but I’m hoping to one day try out some gaming stuff, including Warcraft. I think a Spirit Healer against grayish fabric would look pretty neat.
I also have the wild urge to do the iconic Moon Presence scene from Bloodborne, but that’s probably years down the line, if ever. Maybe some Caryll Runes in the meantime…? Next best thing to carving it into my brain!
