I’m wondering how easy it’ll be to gear up. As a new interface is the sort of thing that needs to be battle tested to see if it really works.
I’m figuring I’ll play with it on a lower level toon first so I can get a sense of what works for me gradually. Rather than having to immediately rework my main’s full spell list, macros, items, etc.
-Gnolls, centaur, drakonids, and tuskarr all get new HD models in 10.0.
-The gnoll model has been retroactively applied to all old gnoll mobs.
-For some reason, even though it’s the exact same patch as the retroactive gnoll change, old centaur, drakonid, and tuskarr mobs are still using their old models.
This bugs me waaaay more than it probably should.
That bothers me too.
Well the default layout is a god damn mess. My action bars are blocking the chat screen lol.

Kinda feels like we could’ve done this a bit more gradually. At least let me figure what should go where before you also rearrange my spellbook.

I said screw it and rolled a new Priest. I don’t even wanna think about my alts right now lol
I dunno, I followed the talent build in Icy Veins and my dps still sucks and i am stuck. I tried four seperate occasions to figure it out and all four of them resulted me just closing WoW. Not even bothering to log out.

I’m almost done with my luddite stint and will be back in computer land so that I, too, may stare at my new talents and ui with confusion and annoyance, channeling all the perplexed energy of my grandpa when they moved the crossword to a different spot in the paper.
…a new character sounds like a great idea. Maybe I really do need that goblin warrior who keeps getting shuffled aside by the 50 character limit. Or a draenei hunter, since my Dracthyr is 99% going to be Horde. It’s hard for me not to be a tank, though.
Well I had been meaning to remake my Vargul character.
I ditched the Priest idea 5 minutes in. As I remade Ben on WRA to test it out before transfering the toon proper and intend to at one point faction swap that preexisting alt Ben.
And I started leveling on the Priest I made to reserve the name Yamamura. Which is the name of the ghost from the Grudge and sounded elfy enough to me.
So I’d have to delete this toon to swap the other toon to that toon who existed to test the waters for this toon.
Ok, Blizzard messed my mocha elf huntard up a little bit, but I’m greater than they!! My DPS might be a little subpar, but that just means I’m better than before when I was very subpar!! My fingers think all my stuff is where stuff belongs or should be, so we’ll see how badly I screw things up over the next two weeks!!

Thing is I can see how this will be useful. But dumping this on a fully leveled character is just sensory overload.
Some cool stuff though. Looks like Void Form and Dark Ascension are related? Maybe? Idk I am happy though you’ve the option to go with dark angel wings over the tentacles.
Very concerned about Mind Control though. That’s my favorite spell and the reason I fell in love with Priest. Going to be quite upset if they’ve infringed on my God given right to make people run off cliffs.
Doness is banned, Micah is a panda, and Ren is a male mage. It’s very confusing around here.
