I know the show is scheduled for sometime next year. Thatās all I know for certain 
We got new season of The Bad Batch, The Mandalorian, Asoka, The Acolyte. Next two years are gonna be great for Star Wars fans

I have been feeding my Halbrand x Galadriel obsession with this particualr edit. I love the song Arcade and I just think it hits those emotional sweet spots. Loving you is a losing game. I had been ignorant to the communityās reaction to Rings of Power because I donāt follow the wrong people, but seeing an overwhelming amount of men call Galadriel a Mary Sue and are actually pressed because sheās ātoo goodā Iām over here laughing like āduhā sheās just a multi-dimensional Manic Pixie Dream Girl, and all of these machismo guys are like āThatās not my idea of a woman!ā bro no ish. Sheās not written for you, you want someone demure and subservient, which is a different fantasy. This is Shakspeare, itās Taming of the Shrew.
The Manic Pixie Dream Girl is written for the broody sensitive guy, and sheās written as a life lesson for him. he looses her in the end. Itās a trope for men who are on the precipice of depression, and self harm and women who want to āsave him.ā
Galadriel is flawed, thatās the freaking point. But to be on the same level as The Dark Lord she has to be a little exaggerated in her greatness sheās the mary Sue to his Gary Stu, thatās what a Twin Flame is. If heās all powerful, so is she. Thatās also hubris, and it usually comes before the fall.
Love it or hate it, no oneās watching Rings of Power for the lore or to feel grounded Tolkienās writing, they are here for the escapism. For the A03 slow burn with comfort and angst.

I love writing meta of a scene so here it goes. The first time he says ālook at me.ā he doesnāt reach out to her, he wants her to look at him like she did before she found out he was Sauron. But she doesnāt and thatās where she starts to lose him, she didnāt see the man anymore, she only saw the monster. So he became the monster she saw out of spite. Itās hard to tell if after he grabs her chin and forces her to look at him, if heās actually telling the truth or if heās actually manipulating her (itās a misreading to think heās manipulating her, and I think she misreads him) I think he actually does see a future filled with light and love and goodness with her by his side, but she only sees darkness. Her speech in the begining of how the light is reflected just as brightly in the reflection of the water is a direct allegory to what she saw, of them as a power couple, but she mistook the light for darkness. āHow do I know which light to follow?ā her brother says touch the darkness and thatās why Sauron urges her to touch the darkness again.
We know they donāt end up mending this and heās pushed more towards the darkness because of it. Even though this season set up a lot of the groundwork for him becoming fully evil, I still think there will be a push and pull between them where he can still be saved, Next season sheās going to be chasing him until there is one defining moment when he rejects her and her light. I love that line āyou bind me to the light and I bind you to power.ā This was not a promise of evil. When he said that he wished he could bind their connection on his very being this was how he bound them. In the end he dimmed her light and she made him powerless. I donāt understand how anyone can say this writing is bad. I donāt respect anyone who doesnāt respect āshippingā itās how people process and psychoanalyze our interpersonal relationships to become better more emotionally mature people because if it.

With Mercury in my 2nd house makes sure I can easily dispatch any enemies and see though fake people. I am a survior of a narccisst. My dad is still stuck in DV, but itās harder for men to admit they are victims of domestic violence due to the stigma and no matter what I say heās not going to leave her or do anything about it. So being called āAmber Heardā by a rejected PUA is a juvinile and insenstive insult meant to pick at my scabs and mislead others. I am a cycle breaker, and my boys have a good mom, my chart says so.

Well, individuals vary a lot, but a lot pf us volunteers are 50% adrenaline junky and 50% gallows humor. A lot to do on a big fire or serious medical emergency, never enough people, equipment, or training, and all of us are disaster humans in some ways, but weāre all there is.
And then we also have our ridiculous day jobs, too. Baristas, dispatchers, maintenance guys, brewers, whatever.
We actually saved most of the structure and some of the contents on that fire, which was nice, because the kid of the owners gets coffee a lot at my winter job. I dunno. It sure doesnāt contribute to what passes for my sense of reality and when you get used to 100% on moments, it can be hard to adjust to when those peak moments donāt hit for a while. Good and bad.

Yeah, I have a few friends who are EMTs. Lots and lots of gallows humor, donāt think any of them are adrenaline junkies but thereās a similar āI donāt know how to operate anymore when the world isnāt falling apartā effect. See it in a lot of my medical friends outside of the EMTs and also teaching, depending on where you teach. Obviously you can only offer one perspective, but it was a new one to me.

EVERY TIME theres a new SW show I resub to swtor lol I try not to sub to two mmos at once bcz I swear I can barely do one mostly bcz my attention span just like if I donāt like the story I donāt vibe w it, like Iāve tried like 3 Dif times of coming back to SL and doing the campaigns bcz I just like to see the story and ā¦ I do like one quest and Iām tired like wow that was a lot Iām a little sleepy all of the sudden.

Not entirely sure what to make of this but I do find it interesting that I am hyper aware of self awareness, both my own and other peoples, and one thing I cannot handle is second hand embarrassment like I literally have to close my eyes and shut down the way some people canāt do horror scenes in movies or shows, like if something I perceive as embarrassing is happening.
And I would also say in that hyper self awareness I do have anxiety from not talking, but I also am worried about talking too much, idk its actually something I am aware of about myself so I found it funny it showed up in my Lilith which I was always curious about what mine was.
One of my favorite things about the Hightowers just as a whole is how perceptive they are of public opinion / the ceremony / trappings of things. I was glad that Alicent had that line about āa good queen calculates the cost to her peopleā or what ever she said to that effect because it really reminds me of how the power of perception is in favor for them. They operate a lot like the Tyrells who I am also fascinated by in the sense of Margaery being descended from the Hightowers that would have been Alicentās cousins. So a part of me wonders if we donāt see a bit of Hightower motive behind wanting Margaery to be Queen (not that they need to do much since Olenna is v intent on making that happen) but it is curious to me that the next time Hightower blood is on the throne its through Margaery and the Tyrells have that same ideology w the importance of perception etc.
Less about the overall family and just on a personal character level of Alicent, it wasnāt my favorite moment but it probably stirred up the most like emotional reaction for me was how she stood in front of Aegon to protect him even if had the dragon fired it wouldnāt have done any good, it was very like relatable almost pleading for her son and families life and she didnāt flinch.
