yes Welcome back. and as sledgehammer said Everything is still on fire!
On halloween a kid walks up to ur door and says ātrick or treatā but ur fly is unzipped, what u do?
I normally wear big baggie shirts especially at home. I should be covered, so to speak.
My favortie DK spec in Both Classic and Retail is Frost. My favorite Mage spec is also Frost. I guess that makes me an ice guy.
Iāve found Arcane Mage pretty lethal. Only gave it a whirl because an Arcane mage was the only one to outpace me on kills on my Dwarf Hunter.
Side bar that stone skin racial is the business. Particularly when I need to duck out of a losing fight with camouflage.
Arcane Mage relies a bit on having to build up power and procs to really bring the pain. But Iāve gotten pretty good at using invisibility to waltz outāve sight of the attacers, set up my empowering arcane rune thingy and turn into a magical machine gun nest.
I think it changed recently, it used to be reliable and not it seems to be one of the worst. I havenāt checked the 9.2 patch notes for mages but fire seems to be the best PVP spec at the moment.
But, like Micah mentioned, the lone wolf talent has been making hunters just overtuned in most battlegrounds. itās probably tuned better for competitive pvp but leveling itās just brutal.
Low-level Arcane Mages are notoriously OP compared to everyone else. Nobody else has anything comparable to Arcane Charges at level 10.
yeah but level 30+ its all hunters. I still do well in pvp as arcane, just not at the same level hunters are pulling right now. I miss being on top.
I mean my Mage is level 37 and Iām doing reasonably well. Granted Iām not overly concerned with KBs because Iām focused on objectives and sometimes that means guarding Quarry or Farm for 7 or so very quiet minutes.
Still mastering that time warp thingy though. I imagine it could be devastating if used well but thus far I havenāt done much with it outside juking the occasional melee attacker.
Time Warp is your lust, best to use it for a big group push. itās pointless to use for 1v1. I usually use t during the first big push to establish team dominance.
Ah I meant the ability where you warp back to where you were ten seconds ago.
I imagine using it well is just one of those things youāve to learn with experience. Have had some fun with Mass Invisibility though. Imagine if you actually had a coordinated team you could get up to some real mind duckery with it.
Iāve never got spellsteal to work. Yeah I understand what you are saying. I hate that spell. Mirror image is also a pretty useless spell in PvP.
Suppose you got 2-3 mages of the same race to look identical and cast it at the same time. Thatād probably throw people off.
Except they are stationary. Iām constantly moving in pvp. itās not like an NPC you can fool.
So Iām playing Farcry 5 as well having not touched the series in awhile. And itās actually quite good. Maybe the closest to Social Horror Iāve seen an AAA game come.
But what I find remarkable is after all these years of advances in video game technology, getting your damn AI support to get in the duck mothering car is just as frustrating as it was in San Andreas.
I recently learned that this item has been removed from the game, or at least from the vendor.
It contained books with advice about how to date women from all of the playable Alliance races at the time. I sometimes even used one of the books to prove that some Night Elf women canonically stripped and danced on mailboxes.
That is memories. By BC all four alliance rogue races had some amazing counterplay options in rogue duels, I had to roll a human rogue, though it was a tough call between EMFH, Stoneskin, Escape Artist, and Shadowmeld.
And that human rogue? Albert Einsā¦ I mean, Twinkletorch today.
Ever since I heard about the secret ending in Far Cry 4 Iāve low-key been interested in picking up the series, but FC5ās premise just hits a little too close to home for it to be fun for me atm.
Tbh thatās why I think it works as Social Horror. I guess I would consider say Fallout to do that as well but this is considerably more current which makes it infinitely more depressing.
But you can befriend a diabetic grizzly bear named Cheeseburger which is absolutely delightful.
oh, itās not a criticism. But horror isnāt my default state. Well, itās my default state and has been for a long time. But itās not my default genre.
How? Isnāt that game about going after a cult leader?
