in Episode 5 of The Boys, The Butcher smeggs scene makes up for all the wierd stuff that happened so far ngl.

Umineko When They Cry talks about having Characters rip a story’s guts out yet neglect to mentions skinning the story alive.
I want to skin WoW’s Story alive!
The guts aren’t as important as tearing the story’s skin off and revealing whom the cast is supposed to represent!
For instance(using Umineko itself as an example) it took months of mulling for me to figure out that Battler and Kinzo are supposed to be Rika Furude from Higurashi When They Cry.
It took just as long for me to figure out that Shannon, Kanon, Natsuhi and Ikuko/Featherine are supposed to represent Looper Satoko.
It took me slightly less long to figure out that Beatrice and Ange represent Witch Satoko not to mention that Eva and her husband represented Takano and her backer.
It took me a while to figure out that Rosa like Maria and Erika represent Hanyuu. Edit: Just a few seconds ago I may have figured out that Lambdadelta and Bernkastel also represent Hanyuu!
Let’s not forget that Red Eyes Rika and Witch Satoko are basically Half-Blood Demons created by Lambdadelta(with Red Eyes Rika being born at the same time as the Half-Blood Demon Bernkastel). There incidentally are sprites of Rika, Satoko and Hanyuu as Demons.
Skinning the cast alive like this(leaving only Bernkastel, Lambdadelta, George, Jessica, Krauss, Rudolph and Kyrie untouched while exposing the rest as Demon Rika, Demon Satoko, Demon Hanyuu, Witch Satoko/Beatrice and Dr. Takano) who is a mass of Red/Golden Butterfly Energies) but leaving the setting(Rokkenjima) intact naturally would make the story interesting but potentially harder to decipher!
Incidentally enough I want to skin the Whispers of the Old Gods and Barrowknoll Cemetery alive and expose the answer to them all for everyone to see! True answering questions leads to more questions but that is part of the fun!
I want to dissect everything under a microscope!

Pretty dull tbh.
After BFA and SL lores hardly fun to speculate on. And we’ve so little else to go on there wouldn’t be a point to it even if it was.
And I tell ya, Zereth Mortis really proves that the Maw’s design only exacerbated the problem. Because even though it’s design reminded me of Halo so much I went and beat Halo Infinite before touching it again, I can’t say its boring to look at or isnt full of at least some intrigue.
But it has the Covenant problem of being so fundamentally divorced from the setting that I can’t care.
And I’m in essentially the Garden of Eden and can tame attack robo hamsters. That might’ve been a good idea for a different game all together but in WoW I’m just wondering what the hell this has to do with anything I care about.

Did they spill the story’s guts(as Umineko When They Cry put it)? No they did not. They skinned it alive revealing what is under the mask but revealed nothing beyond that!
Fans want the Story’s Guts while certain Writers want to simply skin the Story alive while keeping the Guts safely hidden so that they can continue to dangle them before our eyes!

You shouldn’t be posting locked threads elsewhere to harass someone, no. You somehow call me “unhinged,” insulting me left and right, but I’m the problem when you go and repost locked threads where you trash someone else? I’d look into those issues if I were you.
