Blizzard needs to let their characters progress to ideological flaws naturally and explore both sides in that conflict without clumsily villain-batting them, making them someone’s punching bag (like a certain naaru killed by a certain fel junkie) or ignoring their circumstances (I bet when/if we see Yrel and co return as villains, “What Iron Horde?” will be the next “What sword?” meme)

Rolled a new Priest, having not touched the class in a year. Have kicked all the butts on him.

Priest DPS is so surprisingly easy compared to other classes. I’m loving my Shadowpriest.

Its certainly in a better place in SL. In Legion it was frankly OP as if you could get enough momentum going you could keep Void Form up for awhile and do, quite literally, insane damage.

So in BFA they put a hard cap on how long you could be in VF. Which really screwed the spec as VF was your only window to deal serious damage and if you got stunned or just interrupted it would close almost immediately. Making it a CD you can pop in SL was wise.

Discipline was always my favorite. But they bafflingly nerfed their damage in 8.2 and SL didn’t improve it that much. I used to mostly play that spec but soloing on it rapidly became a grindy chore so C’thulu Phatgn it is.

I’m hoping to really master Holy. That wound up being far and away the best for PvP in SL and its pretty different to Disc which is practically a tank spec in that gameplay mode.

D&D Players!

Have any of you abused the rule of “Belief Shapes the Planes” heavily noted in Planescape to get a Mary Sue into the Story? As in literally will the Mary Sue into existence?

Like say have any of you used the power of Belief to(or get a ton of people to) will the perfect Warrior, Paladin, Mage, Priest or Princess into existence?

Also have any of you used “Belief Shapes the Planes” to make an idealized Good Copy of an Idolized Character-turned-Evil(shattering the Pedestal you put them on) spawn into existence?

How did the DM react to such instances? And yes if you are starting a new Game you can get back to me on that.

God I hope Blizzard saw this.

Filoni & Favreau again prove why they are the fut…: https://youtu.be/pOFtteLZc4c

Either the Gallery, or this take on it.

I have zero faith in Blizzard Customer Service and moderator team.

YouTube just directed me towards a Video Game called The Witch’s House which is about a Witch trying to escape her House because a Girl she switched Bodies with is trying to reclaim her Body.

The point of the Game is that it’s a Plot Twist… Too many of these Horror Games have the Plot Twist be that the Villain was the Player all along with none of the Games having the Player be an obvious Villain who knows her/his way around the place from the start!

Why don’t we ever get a Game where the Witch’s identity is blatant from the start(I.E. the Cute Girl has a Witch’s Hat and Cape) and she is still fleeing from a Victim she abused and mangled(of course in this case the victim wouldn’t have switched bodies with the Witch but simply be just someone the Witch mistreated before the Victim stumbled upon the Witch’s Spellbook gaining all the Witch’s powers).

Bonus points if the Witch and Victim are both immortal but the Victim is just that relentless and brutal while the Witch is too frightened by the Victim’s sudden attack(having been traumatically face-slammed in the wall repeatedly with a couple of stabs here and there during the opening) to fight her directly and is running & hiding the whole game.

Nazgrim finally appears, and steps through the portal to ZM, not to be seen again?

The 2001 version of Duke Nukem Forever got leaked last night. It’s very much playable with mostly finished assets, levels and enemies. It looks like a mix between Doom 3 and Half Life. Very impressive for that time. If that version of the game got officially released it’d be considered one of the greatest games instead of one of the worse in history.

Just visited the Citadel of Loyalty to grab the Chest out today and who did I find guarding it? Rector Kalliope! As in the namesake of Kalliope’s rest and the original owner of the Spear of Kalliope!

With the area being called Kalliope’s Rest one might have thought she was dead but noooo she was Forsworn and probably backing the Forsworn’s search for her Spear. Funny how her being busy at the Citadel of Loyalty kept her from handing the answers to how to get the Spear to the expedition!

The Forsworn can’t even send the agents most suitable for the tasks they set up for themselves! That’s embarrassing! Kalliope is in their ranks yet they sent someone else to fetch her Spear! Clearly there is a flaw in their management!

Hey, don’t slander my covenants’ ineptitude… They are literally angels, they can do whatever they want.

I see the most excitable blood elf mage in the world is back.

Yay.
