No. thereās no mention of Zendarin or his parents just a vague mention of lesser Windrunner cousins. The book only really focuses on Sylvanasās immediate family. But there is a nod to their existence in one early chapter.
Donāt give yourself false hope that Golden actually has any understanding of existing lore, because she doesnāt. She doesnāt give a care about continuity. As an honest review so far, thatās the most disappointing thing, itās not holding true to continuity. It has all the typical Goldenism but this is a big one. This is going to be a big talking point next week. Unless sheās talking huge swathes out of Arthas: Rise of the Lich King verbaitm like she just copy and pastedā¦yeah, continuity for only things she wrote.
Zero context spoilers but on page 182 Golden proves how much of a masochist she really is after Elegy. You thought Elegy was bad?

I just read a reddit thread that gave some spoilers and some of the justifications for Before The Storm still donāt make sense with the inner dialogue she had in that book
I just got to the Arthas bit, so Iām in post death stuff right now. Iām done reading her chapters about when she was alive. so itās pretty much 50/50 between when she was alive and after her death.

So I know I promised a fun story from work, but Iām unable to fulfill that promise. The story did not have the fun or funny ending Iād hoped, and instead ended in frustration and anger with the medical team we work with.

Interesting info I discovered: Scott & Denise Ciencin created Ao the Overdeity not Ed Greenwood the creator of the Forgotten Realms setting itself which means that there is nothing stopping the President of Hasbro from demanding his swift death at the hands of Lucifer in the same way the Adviser from Total War Warhammer got killed off by Sarthorael!
Imagine Ao gloating about something only for his pet to fly into the air then start glowing as Ao suddenly panics and begs for his pitiful life right before the pet rams into him causing a flash of light that subsides revealing a Giant Grey Horned Figure with Cloven Hooves holding the corpse of Ao before crushing it ruthlessly to dust.
Yes I would like nothing more than to get near the President of Hasbro to talk him into putting a specific stranglehold on D&D Lore, Warhammer Lore(Hasbro has a controlling interest on Games Workshop), MLP Lore and MoonDreamers Lore!

Hasbro also has deals with Sony and is a Toy Company so you can orchestrate Crossovers with anything made by Aniplex including A Certain Magical Index, Sword Art Online, Lyrical Nanoha(Aniplex did Lyrical Nanoha ViVid so it does have some access to the Nanoha Franchise) and Madoka Magica(technically made by Shaft yet since Shaft shares an office with Aniplex the more powerful company calls the shots as shown with itās creation Magia Record).
Why wouldnāt Sony want money off of merchandise for Shows Hasbro wants them to make!?
As for what one can do with Lyrical Nanoha:
Please get us a Gundam-like Lyrical Wolken(a Fictional TV Show only existing in the equally fictional Midchilda according to the 2nd Lyrical Nanoha Movie) with the new Original Characters(since we dare not touch the existing Cast of Lyrical Nanoha like Lyrical Nanoha Force did) dying left & right to Monsters & Ghosts and Levi the Slasher constantly splattering at least half of the City with a Magical Rain of Blood coming from her Storm Cloud while Dearche inflicts a corruption resembling the Void Corruption of Eredath on the other half of the City.
The President of Hasbro has power and those who have his ear also has power! To get someoneās ear you have to walk in with an air of someone with grand speech and certainty. Remind him that he has the power to fire any writer for anything he(more like you) disagrees with and that they have no power only himself and the Board of Directors!

So on the fun and/or funny ending *, I had three calls on my ambulance day. The first call sounded like nothing, but it was absolutely SOMETHING, the second call was dispatched as SOMETHING but was nothing, and the third call was one of those āsir, it would be nice if I could revoke your license to brain and return it when you have passed several tests to indicate you can operate a human brain safelyā.
But, of note, the first call involved a place downtown. And as a firefighter 6 days a week, I had a brief moment of terror thinking I would have to parallel park the rig. Then I realized I was the ambulance and with blinky lights, I can park where ever I want. I hope everyone feels some fraction of the joy I felt in that moment.

Ruling Nintendo is harder yet Nintendo does seem heavily influenced by Interviews.
Arrange an interview with Miyamoto, Aonuma, Tanabe, the Directors of Skyward Sword/Breath of the Wild and Mario Odyssey as well as the IP Team(you would have to go to Japan or call some Agent that can do so and arrange an appointment) and your questions have enough power to bring change to Nintendoās Franchises!
Ask Miyamoto and the Director of Mario Odyssey about how it was claimed Mario Odyssey was Open World only to fail at that while Breath of the Wild succeeded. Iām sure Miyamoto will start accusing the Mario Odyssey Director making the guy apologetic and such then you can point out what an Open World of the Mario Franchise is supposed to look like through questions.
Point out how the Mushroom Kingdomās Continent is a good place as any for an Open World Marioās setting then point out all the locales in each setting.

Iām sure he will be blaming Aonuma quite readily just as he blamed him for the Water Temple in Ocarina of Time.
Ask him why the Hyrule Encyclopedia contradicts the Deku Tree Sprout in Ocarina of Time on the matter of Kokiri and if said contradiction is Non-Canon. Furthermore ask him if everything else remains Canon and can inspire Continuity for later Zelda Games.
If he confirms the contradiction of Kokiri Lore in the Encyclopedia is Non-Canon then ask him if he thinks that it is possible for any of the Deku Trees to convert Hylian Children to Kokiri on request as it seems to be an interesting concept and could allow them to exist alongside Koroks just as Rito do alongside Zoras.
I donāt get how anyone could think she does, after she casually rewrote Forsaken society in Before the Storm. Iām not even a Forsaken fan, particularly, but I think that was inexcusable and I still wonder how it got okayed.

When is Marvel going to extract Grigori Rasputin from his descendants Illyana, Colossus and Mikhail?
Surely Sinister is growing impatient to get his favorite test subject back! He already has the ability to Clone his minions so with one ritual he could easily extract Grigori from his descendants and dump them into a Clone with all 3 Abilities to join the Marauders!
Of course the real Grigori Rasputin was not an outright Villain so one would hope he becomes like Illyana as she is now(ruthlessly pragmatic and willing to delay rescues to make a point) and defies Sinister(who as of right now has shown just how evil he was a thousand times over) while Illyana herself and Mikhail regain morality and become nice again.
I suppose that depends on whether or not Marvel owns the movie rights to Colossus and Sinister.
Colossus and Sinister should be part of the āX Menā package that came over from Fox and is starting to settle into the Disney Marvel Universe.
I think Spider Man is shared with Sony and Sony has little reason to let that go. Along with Venom, Carnage, and the Sinister 6 and Blade and Morbius. The Spider Man stuff.
I am not sure about Fantastic Four - along with Silver Surfer and Dr. Doom. I think they changed hands a few times.
Yashahimeās current plot is completely resolved.
We still donāt know what exactly is responsible for the Half-Yokai losing powers during specific times of day so there may be some threat available for the 3rd Season if one is made.
