It’s not a bad set. Reminds me of T2 Dragonstalker.
Shadowlands is just the player fighting their way through the Afterlife corporate structure until we speak to Sylvanas’ manager, the Jailer, and get her fired.
I took a look at the plate I have and man does it all suck. Why does leather have all the good armor sets?
I need the mail boots that don’t look like socks. Cannot get them to drop.
Back before I knew I was going to be able to make my Void Elf a High Elf, I had him in a mix of the Dragonstalker set and the Heritage Armor (with the tabard thrown over some of the low res bits). It blended pretty nice.
That’s where I’m at with Warriors. My Draenei pally looks nice in Tier 17. And all the Legion DK sets are nice. But good Warrior sets are few and far between, especially for Alliance races.
I actually have those. I just (once again) cannot get the shoulders to drop. The fancy or the basic ones.
I’m starting to think I used up all my RNG luck when I got the Ashenvale Chimaera on my first try.

I know that feeling. I’ve only ever mained leather/mail classes so I have like three whole sets of plate total. I do like what I managed to get together for my Pally though.

The Shadows are beings that wage war in order to grow stronger and make other Races stronger.
Basically they are the true embodiment of the first reality of the Sith before Darth Bane’s Order: Peace is a lie there is only Passion!
The True Sith of KotOR 2 were supposed to be just like the Shadows: Ancient Warriors who start wars to improve the Galaxy’s advancement then sleep until the right time to improve the Galaxy by starting wars all over again.
The Old Republic just brought in an organization that backstabbed each other to gain power in their pyramid which is consistent to the Sith nature that Darth Bane had to base his Rule of Two around.
Quick! Someone suggest having a Faction in Star Wars based on the Shadows of Babylon 5 to Disney please! Doesn’t have to be Sith(people are already sick of them) either!
Come to think of it: Thrawn and his love of War and treating it like an Art is very similar to the Shadows of Babylon 5…
Give him a Time Gate then he can start influencing the Sith from it’s very inception and become a Sith Lord(with no Force Connection I might add) from Ancient Times that never went away(due to always escaping to another Time Period) that causes War to evolve the Galaxy.
That would be the very description of the True Sith spoken of by Chris Avellone!
Of course Traya would be frightened if the True Sith was a non-Force Sensitive(probably equipped with Force Pike Tech for Faux-Force Choking/Crushing and long-range Electroshock Gauntlets for Faux-Force Lightning) since he would be more dangerous(Mind Tricks don’t effect the Strong-willed either and Thrawn is Strong-willed)!
She’d be even more frightened if it turned out Thrawn was Revan’s Body Double and chief tactician because it would mean that Revan had indeed fallen and the True Sith had infact won the whole time and discarded Revan to Malak once he\she had served his purpose!
Had a dream about being one of those angels trying to survive against a demon. Weird thing is it was at my job.
I think I am going to pass on playing Shadowlands for now. I reactivated for the new character customization options, because despite my interest in Blizzard’s characters circling the drain, I am still attached to my characters, and I wanted to give them a fresh coat of paint. But I’m still not motivated to play them. I just feel depressed when I log in. Blizzard ruined the Horde, and I don’t see how they can ever fix it at this point. I think their plan is to ignore the problem and hope it blows over.
Also, I don’t like the covenants. They don’t fit my characters and I don’t want to join any of them, especially if the implication is my characters’ souls are going there when they die. I don’t know that that’s the case, but it feels like it probably is.
So, at the moment, it’s looking like I am just here for another 1 month visit. And, as usual, if they ever get around to adding that Darkspear heritage armor, expect to see me back for that. Unless it’s ugly.
My time expires mid November.

I’m optimistic it’ll be great for two reasons. First, I generally have more trust in the art team than most other departments at Blizzard, and second, it should be pretty obvious what Darkspear fans want. Please don’t mess this up, Blizzard!

I felt the same way about worgen heritage armor. After the blood elf and nightborne sets, I was expecting something great. What we got was…not great. I still haven’t done it on my worgen. Frankly, I wasn’t blown away by the goblin heritage armor either. It seemed more Steamwheedle than Bilgewater. Hopefully those two were a fluke and the rest will be good. I’m really looking forward to the draenei set. My goofy, lumbering male draenei mage needs some new threads.
The Worgen was a let down for sure. As for Goblins, what they came up with was pretty uninspired, true, but I can’t think of what an iconic outfit for a Bilgewater Goblin would be, whereas I feel like Darkspear armor should be pretty obvious.

I expect great things of the Forsaken Heritage. I really hope it’s a Lordaeron set, and not a Blight set. The forsaken heritage is definitely their human lives and the bulk majority are the citizens of Lordaeron. If they don’t do a Lordaeron Nobility set I’ll be surprised. A beautiful meld of the two would be perfect.

Recently I have been thinking that I will always slightly be bothered by Void Elves not being introduced with Horde Man’ari, mainly as some sort of silly twisted referential pairing.
