Does the boat exist anymore? Been sitting at the docks with my VE Warrior for a good 10 minutes chatting with general and trade, nothing is showing up.
I don't know. I sat for a long time waiting for the boat from BB to Ratchet. Finally gave up and had a friend port me to Theremore.

This doesn’t answer your question but why didn’t you just take the portal to hellfire peninsula then from there take the portal to stormwind?
There's been some experience with the zeppelins not showing up at all as well. I haven't experienced it in a week or two though, but the problem might have passed onto the boats, too.
If it's a fresh void elf, unless they're around level 60 they can't access the portal to Hellfire Peninsula. Also judging from their title, they're trying to get to Darnassus, not Stormwind.

They worked just fine for me a few hours ago.
Apologies if this sounds dumb but, for the Stormwind issue, you're not phased are you? Or at the wrong dock?
I haven't tried the Booty Bay one in ages, because I always teleport from the Shrine to Ratchet. So I can't help you there.

Not to mention, that doesn't work from Stormwind to Darnassus. Only the other way around.

A cloak that teleports you to Stormwind when you're already in Stormwind is worthless.
The OP is trying to go TO DARNASSUS from Stormwind. NOT the other way around.

if you can hear the boats coming and going, relogging often seems to help (providing it's not a phasing issue)

That surprisingly worked! I heard the bell, saw no boat, /reload and there it is!
I like to have each new Allied Race character in different zones, so I'm not doing the same quests repeatedly on all of them.
I think the transportations might be a little buggy. I’ve been getting randomly teleported to stonetalon mountains if I use the zeppelin.
It used to be Menethil Harbour in Werlands. I haven’t leveled a char since befor Cata, so it might have changed.
Having certain quests in your quest log can affect the phasing of the boat going from SW Harbor to Darnassus. Without more information about the character, it's hard to say what the problem is.
Won't work on my 101 level rogue. Harbors full of ship for legion. If I fly to the trade district and back I can see the ship to Darnassus, but as soon as I approach it and the dock guide disappear and the Legion fleet reappears. I had to fly to Booty Bay, take ship to Ratchet and fly to the Dark Shore. What a mess. Blizzard has really scr**** this up.

you have a quest that’s causing you to phase; I’m gonna assume it’s the broken shore quest. just tell the quest npc you want to skip the scenario and the docks will go back to normal, easy peas

If you are not in a phased area, drop a ticket or bug report.
This occasionally happens, both with the zeps and with boats. It usually gets fixed but you should report it in-game.
I've had this happen several times in SW. For some reason it shows up and I just can't see it. Now I always watch for other players or npcs (sometimes theyre escorting a prisoner to the stockades) to walk out on the dock and I know it's there.

It takes a GRIP to show up. Also make sure you are on the right dock.

make sure you're at the correct dock..From stormwind Harbor: the dock on the far left is the one to Darnassus, the one in the middle is to Northrend, the others are nothing.
or from Darnassus to Stormwind:
The one on the left doesn't do anything.. the one to stormwind is center, the one to exodar is right.
