Why hasn’t Blizzard updated anything in Stormwind? The dwarves are still smelting under a tent in the Dwarven district. I understand the humans are still a little racist but I would have thought by the time Anduin took over things would have been a little different. Can we get an update to the city soon? I might get some hate comments for this but, Orgrimmar is so much easier to use comparably.
Silvermoon is first in line, sorry.
This is true. Many of the capital cities all have been ignored… sad
hasn’t stormwind been updated more than all other cities combined?
Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms desperately need a facelift.
Updates to old zones to represent time passing since the Cataclysm, updates to capital cities (including adding Azuremyst and Silvermoon to the main instances), make Gilneas an actual city, and give the Gnomes and Goblins somewhere that isn’t a freakin’ hovel in another race’s capital.
Last time they “updated” stormwind they did not paid the workers and the whole Defias brotherhood came into being.
Not a good idea in these troubling times.
Why waste resources on empty zones like silvermoon or all other capitals except og and sw…which were basicaly rendered useless aswell after adding AH to valdraken.
I mean Why bother, we don’t do anything in older zones. I haven’t set foot in SW/org since expac launched.
I don’t blame them for ignoring since there’s no content to make us go there.
Plus they have like 2 devs working on this game now, let’s not stretch them further lol
who is “we”?
i’m in old zones doing stuff on a daily basis.
There always seems to be plenty of people in the cities. I have alts that I just play old content on and spend a lot of time in the older places.
Why hasn’t blizz updated Silvermoon?
Comparatively, Org is an unusable dungheap next to Stormwind.
Like what? What new content sends you to old zones? None. waste of time and energy. Blizz shouldn’t bother until they make new content in old zones.
The number of users in old zones vs new zones isn’t even a debate. Prioritize the new, I’m not going to agree with this and encourage Blizz to waste time on old stuff that doesn’t actively get used in current content.
There’s still a friggin siege going on outside of Org since how many expansions ago?
Top of my list is make vale of eternal blossoms have the correct default timeline (the present that doesn’t require a long quest chain to unlock) and add an option to zidormi to go back to the original version where it was amazing and not disfigured with whatever calamity has landed there next.
Personally I’ve been wanting an entire major patch (or two) dedicated to fixing all the stuff broken by 20 years of expansions for ever. Please do that.
Pease and beans it would be nice indeed.
Seriously though I do wish they’d take care of the older zones when adding new ones in. Make it seem like as time moves on things shift change and gets better. I feel like immersion is broken a lot due to this.
But why? Yes, These are nice to haves. But The list of priorities over updating old zones that have no active content isn’t even a question. It seems wow resources continue to thin out, I’d rather they focus what resources they have on current stuff that the majority of players do.
Then as a company they need to figure out what to do (like listen to the player base and hardcore fans) and get more resources to fulfill the players expectations so people are happy. Not worried about what THEY think we want. If they’d listen they’d do better in my opinion.
I mean sure I’d love that as I’m sure most would, but I’m just being realistic.
Kick all the gnomes out
I think in 1 or 2 x packs there will be a capitol shift. My hope is that wirh the blight moved from Gilneas that it will become the new human capitol.
