Quoted for truth. This person is correct.
But levelling out the mount total isn’t favortism…it is making it equal. Did you complain that Horde had favortism when you DID have it with more mounts, and better designed? Nope. You are here complaining about someone doing the exact same thing you as a faction did lol.
I will always suggest that mount numbers should be equal on both sides.
I will also be rational and say that if one side momentarily has an advantage, its not the end of the world. Its not a sign the Devs hate the Alliance. If the Alliance were to have an extra mount released in BFA, I would not throw a tantrum.
No mount released for the Horde this expansion comes close to the Bee as being “better designed”.
In your OPINION. Thats the thing. Your opinion is its better designed. I could argue tons of other things horde have are better designed but all that boils down to personal taste does it not? SO goes to my argument to just the numbers, since numbers are not subjective. Right now the numbers are 2 more for horde that only horde can OBTAIN. After the bee, its just 1. Still not fair or equal.
Great point.
So its not “fact” that the devs hate the Alliance. Its just the opinion of the vocal forum victims that the devs hate the Alliance. Since its all based on subjective things. And personal taste.
And it is your opinion that a 1 mount difference means there is a Horde Bias.
It is my opinion that a 1 mount difference does not mean there is a Horde Bias.
Have you been in that last stretch to get the 400 mount achievement? Where you are down to nothing but rare mounts and you have to pray to RNGesus to get it? Well guess what? That 1 mount makes a big difference when you can go do some quests and ensure you WILL get a mount than stuck waiting for RNGesus to help you. You claim it isn’t bias purely because you sit there with the side that has the bias. If it offers an advantage to them in any avenue, its bias.
Ok. The Bee mount offers an advantage to the Alliance.
Bias.
Agree?
No it doesn’t though. It brings you guys up to just having 1 more mount than us, instead of 2. That is no advantage of all.
But why is the only advantage you can say that exists is the mount count advantage? Some people don’t care about mount numbers. Some people want to ride cool mounts.
Right now, I can never ride the Bee mount on a Horde toon. That is an Alliance advantage.
And unless I make a horde toon and level it, I will never ride Torcali or Kuafon, bigger advantage to Horde
Sure. But the thing is. You have the opportunity to level up a horde toon, get the horde mounts. Use them on your Alliance toon.
I don’t have the same opportunity with the Bee. I can’t make an Alliance toon, level it up (I already have btw), and get the bee mount…then use it on a Horde toon.
Alliance advantage.
Alliance Bias.
If you choose not to do it, that is your fault. I don’t have the choice.
And I am still made to level a faction I do not like to get mounts just because Blizz wants people to play Horde. Horde Advantage. Horde Bias.
using horde mounts that alliance can use as an example of favoritism isn’t really a strong argument.
any player can make a horde character and get the mounts and use them on their alliance character. That’s different from a mount that we think horde can get in the same manner, but not use on their horde characters.
In all honesty, this Bee is probably going to be the high point of BfA for me.
edit: and probably the best and only reason to roll Alliance anymore.
You have the choice. I don’t.
I don’t see how you don’t get this.
If you don’t want to do something, that isn’t a dev bias. If you don’t even have the opportunity…that is different.
You are trying way too hard to make yourself the victim based on not wanting to do something you have the opportunity to do.
You have the choice to play on Alliance if you want to use the Bee mount…same choice I do to obtain those mounts. You again are still assuming it won’t be able to be used on the Horde just because its still in datamining period…
You are literally saying I have the choice, but the same choice applies. NOTHING stops you from playing on alliance for the mount if you like it so much. Choice is there. I still have to level a faction for 2 mounts vs you the 1. That is still advantage to Horde, or do you want to argue 2 isn’t more than 1 now?
You have the choice to use the Horde mounts on the Alliance.
I do not have the choice to use the Bee on Horde.
Until that aspect changes, my argument stands.
Again 2 vs 1. Math doesn’t lie. We both have the option to play on both factions, but still boils down to Horde have 2 mounts alliance cannot obtain, vs 1. Even if that aspect changes and you get the bee on horde side, that total isn’t going to change until Blizz fixes THAT too.
To use your same argument, its just mounts. It doesn’t affect your gameplay either now does it?
Oh yeah, I remembered the bee pet. I didn’t do that–thanks!
That’s no fun. I love puzzles and secrets, I used to do them in other MMOs. Ah, I missed them.
