I’ve tried the scenario maybe 10 times now and every single time Taoshi freezes and refuses to move. She walks to the lower level of the ship and then after we kill the boss guy she just freezes there. Its been this way for the last week. Nothing I’ve tried to resolve the issue works. Not only this, but the stealth mechanic is also bugged. If you walk up behind an enemy to stealth kill them it just ignores the stealth and pulls the mob.
Getting the same bug here too, she hops/phases through a door that cannot be passed through by the player and then freezes upon reaching the bottom floor- clearing out all of the enemies above on the upper deck does nothing to help. Probably phasing through the door breaks the pathfinding mechanic because there is no legitimate way to get back up to the top level of the ship.
I also had an issue with not being able to leave the scenario, the game simply would not let me leave, even with a hearthstone. So essentially that timerunner is of no use to me now unless I can figure out a way to get out of the scenario.
Found a way to make it work temporarily and worked for me:
Stand on the grate/door (one has to put themselves right where she phases through) that leads to the lower decks and wait until she traps the weapons (Taoshi will eventually set everthing up, it may take a while) then one can proceed with the portion that the player has to do as well.
Suggestions as well- be using a high damage toon as doing the method above pretty much aggroed everything on the top deck and also have ways of regen/tanking or you may have a hard time. I used a havoc dh, with other classes mileage may vary.
Don’t know if anyone still needs this but I found out that you don’t need to kill the trolls above the boat. You just walk near it with Taoshi near you to be cloaked and a special action will appear when you’re near a troll to knock out the troll. Did the first few times killing the trolls which bugs the scenario. Then accidentally discovered that you only need to knock them out and not kill them. Just finished the thing. Hope it helps.

I could not find way down to lower level of ship after neutralizing crew on upper deck. I jumped down on gangplank to get access to Captain. I then worked my way up hill to Dockmaster who remained inactive. I ultimately went back down to hill and found Taoshi and went back up hill with her and quest worked.
