Doesn’t really build hy pe out of me like “legion” or “dragonflight” or even going back to “the burning crusade” or “the wrath of the li ch king” heck even “Warlords of Draenor” and “Shadowlands” SOUNDED cool. But weren’t. So it mi ght be a good expansion but Stormraven sounds like the generic name for an everquest expansion not a wow expansion.
It would never be called Stormraven. That’s how you know the leak is at least partially wrong.

Don’t disparage the GOAT with your cockamamie naming accusations. EverQuest had some of the best, and most consistent expansion names/themes of all video game franchises - Ever.

You say that, but there is actually a Stormcrow mount that has been sitting unobtainable since, like, Siege of Orgrimmar.
The fact that Blizz has seemingly avoided every possible avenue to implement it for over 10 years remains a sore spot for a lot of people.

What makes you believe this is real? What is your source?
There has been a few dozens of ““LEAKED”” Expansions floating around the web for the last couple months. I couldn’t find a ““LEAK”” called Stormraven on MMO-champion, Reddit, 4chan or WoWhead, the only source for this is a post in this forum claiming WoWhead dataminded the title to be that or Stormrider. But the WoWhead article they link does even mention Stormraven.

Sad that’s when EverQuest started to tank…love me some EverQuest tho still play it…but mostly play P99 these days
Nothing more than a leak. I just hope that’s not the name of it. The only one named expansion we got was Legion and that had meaning. Stormraven means nothing to WoW players. Every expansion name has meant something we as players understood.
Stormrider isn’t any better.
Cataclysm and Shadowlands.
But yeah doubt it will be Stormraven or Stormrider since the latter is the name of the only confirmed piece of 11.0 leak, the Heroic Edition Mount “Algarian Stormrider” and 3 achievements for Storm Riding(Bronze,Silver,Gold)

I’ve seen the apparently fake images for Stormbreak but not Stormraven. Tis the season for the flood of ‘leaks.’
I doubt they’ll call it that.
