He seems more of a pragmatist thatā€™s kind of fed up with dealing with more primitive-minded ā€œbusiness partnersā€ to me. Plus heā€™s expanded his life into actual centuries with his tech. Iā€™d trust his judgement more than anyoneā€™s.

Stormcloaks obviously. The imperials were going to kill you just because they felt like it, despite your name not being on the list. Shows they have no sympathy for anyone. Yes Uthric has his problems as a leader, but so does imperial leader. He wanted to "bid his time and strike back against the high elves. Clearly that was going to go bad because the elves have ears everywhere.

The Stormcloaks are so distasteful that the game had to buff their appeal by having the imperials attempt to execute you at the start.

Were it not for that, the imperials would 100% be the one and only choice. I still choose them.
