Yeah, it’s ridiculous how bad the botting is getting. It reminds me of the bg botting back in the day. This should be bannable as well. #stopthebots

They could easily get volunteer GM’s that did nothing but detect bots and ban them. Plenty of people would be happy to take the job.

Im against bots as much as the next guy but I have no problem selling my crap for a good price.
IF the prices were higher PLAYERS would go farm that stuff instead and drive it down anyway.

#StopTheBots only lasts as long as Asmon’s audience focuses on it. Once its over, the bots come back. Even if there are reports of logging off, it doesnt mean anything.

I like the bots when doing WQ , I tag the mobs and let the Bots kill them for me.

Went to 66,30 in Ardenweald to see what the hype was about. Reported two randomly named toons that just mindlessly kept doing same things over and over again, even aggroing and killing mobs that they didn’t tag.
There were others on the other side of the path, but I’ll wait for this magical mail to decide whether it’s worth continuing to report.

Just curious - what are they actually farming there? Is there some sort of useful material? Just seems odd since its the previous expansion, I can’t imagine mats would be useful. Or is it purely for currency drops?
Probably meats and gold. I don’t know exactly since I don’t bot 
Well, its possible to farm things without being a bot 
I will go do a number of BC instance runs for mog and gold etc and be doing it on one of my toons and I’m certainly not botting.
But all that aside, if it’s just gold (I can’t see that the meat would be worth anything) surely there has to be more efficient of making gold than running a bunch of bots around and around for hours. Then again, like you, I have no idea how profitable it is, if its purely gold.
It has got to the point that when I do go and farm on my druid I’m immediately asked if I’m a bot. Had a few people insult me for being a druid but apologizing after explaining I’m not a bot. I like farming on my druid but seriously considering brushing off my harvester and picking up my farming professions on another class.
