Stopchanneling macro

wowanalyzer is mad at me for not hitting all my ticks of fist of fury and I use a stopchanneling macro similar to this one for a handful of my spells:

#showtooltip
/stopmacro [channeling:Fists of Fury]
/stopcasting [channeling:Crackling Jade Lightning]
/cast Tiger Palm

I’m wondering if I should stop using this macro because it’s not effective or if I just need to be more careful in terms of ensuring I’m in range or need to pay closer attention to clipping FoF by rolling or other spells that I do not have this macro for.

Did you look at the actual logs to see when it happened? Also how often did it happen?

My guess offhand would be that you were channeling and moved out of range (possibly to deal with fight mechanics).

No but I’ve since tested the macro and it works. I had just seen other posts about people having problems with it.

But now I’m wondering how it interacts with the spell que window
