I am so fed up with the Postmaster sending me crap I have no use for! But on top of that, I have items in my bank and in my bags that cannot be sold and cannot be deleted! WHY!?

Iâm guessing itâs because itâs less of a headache to deal with people complaining about not being able to delete them than it is to deal with people deleting them and complaining about it.

i still hold onto things from 11 years ago that have no vendor price and still do not want to type out âdeleteâ to be rid of.
i also find it annoying to have to delete repeat drops of toys i already have in my collection . i suggest since the code knows i have it collected, can it put a 1c vendor price like repeat pets out of the paragon supplies cache

No. There have been times in the past where players have deleted something and then regretted it greatly and were unable to get the full set or exact item back. So to avoid that, Blizzard was like umâŚno delete.
Just ignore it if you hate it so much. I quit BFA for a while after ALL my RL friends quit so I sold and deleted all the gear that I could. ALL of it, 100% of all gear on every toon was gone and I gave away over 8 million gold to random people. Artifact weapons, the new world legendaries, the neck piece, cannot be deleted. I think all else can.
I came back to Wow but I now play alone. No RL friend of mine plays the game anymore. They al quit.
Yes please enough with items that canât be deleted and sending the random grey junk I didnât loot off of trash .If I wanted it I would of looted it.

There is an addon for almost everything you can do in this game, almost.
looked in my bags and noticed i still have a bunch of kafa stuff with no vendor price and can only be used while i wait on Sha of Anger respawns.
another annoyance are quest items that remain in my bags after completion. i still have a Tear of Elune and my other alts have Telemancy orbs from Suramar flyovers

Back to topic, I can see how it might be annoying to some people to have things unable to be deleted or vendored. However, there arenât really THAT many things to which fall into this category. My take so far has been everything undeletable so far is something I would be keeping anyhow. (Disclaimer, I keep a lot of weird stuff. LOL)
That said, I think a way to delete these things after their intended use is done would be a good idea. Maybe a double confirmation that you really really will not be able to get this item back â and only have the ability to delete available after the itemâs use is past for the given character. (For example, you are only able to delete artifact weapons when a character is lv111 or higher, etc.)
These are things in Mechagon, like the silly totem thing you put in the Outflow, and the feast thing, which I cannot use because I have not leveled cooking in BfA.
Do you realize how many customer service tickets that would generate from the people who required Blizzard to put in the confirmation deletion screens?? DO YOU? I /shudder to think about it.

Just add a filter to the mail box âIgnore Corpse Lootâ.
Until you forget the filter is on and youâre doing LFR and intentionally donât loot boss and you donât get your gear. Sad times. Hilarious though.

I still want to delete my artifact weapon because itâs an abomination that shouldâve never existed. Frostmourne needs to be a 2h weapon, period. They either need to allow it to be reforged into a 2h weapon (which I know is wishful thinking and donât expect to happen) or allow me to delete that abomination.
