I haven’t seen one zombie, outside of Icecrown. I don’t even know where they are. I spend all my time in Boralus or Zuldazar, with jaunts through Org and SW for the quest line.

Don’t talk about skill when you don’t understand how the game works.
You understand that WM is mostly used for leveling, and the fact you want to hide away from a world changing event by having the game cater to you in non war mode. Shows that you should go play skyrim. The world has changed, and for a short time you got to put up with players being the scourge. Enjoy.
You want to call me a kid? I don’t get upset if someone kills me in a video game. You want to ignore a world changing event by making it a choice, and that lessens the rp and impact of said event.

I always quest in Goldshire, I like the quests. Now I cannot quest there.

THE PORTAL ROOMS ARE IN ORGRIMMAR and STORMWIND, and you GET FLAGGED IN THEM.
Clearly, you’re taking the zombie thing into the real world to forget that.

Yes, and you can go to another city anyway. Seriously. You yourself are a mage. Teleport to a different city. Problem solved. Go afk, make a sandwich, come back, you’re no longer flagged. Again, flagged doesn’t mean you’re in WM.

There’s no way. Going to Org automatically forces you into being flagged for pvp regardless of your warmode settings and keep you flagged until you go somewhere else.
This not only makes me a target for the alliance players that more often than not go piss people off in org (don’t forget, moonguard is an alliance server) and makes me flagged in other zones when i port out of orgrimmar.
It’s not hard to understand that If i wanted to pvp i’d flag myself or turn warmode on at will. My issue isn’t the event, it’s Blizzard force flagging everyone to pvp even though they said they wouldn’t do that.

If there wasn’t an achievement tied to it, I wouldn’t have bothered with the quests. Whole event kinda sucked.

I agree it should be PvE, but it shouldn’t be opted out of.
I am guessing they force flag for PvP so people can’t just turn WM off to avoid the invasion ( since it used to be on the PTR that the event was tied to Warmode); and would not be surprised if they are currently working on a hotfix to remove the Warmode requirement for the invasion invent but force flag for right now so people can’t just avoid it either.

The ones where you die with no armor or weapons and if you don’t get back to your body in time, you lose everything? including your BiS gear? Having to keep a spare armor set in the bank just case something happened…

Does not mean you’re in WM. It just means you got flagged. Even if you’re not in WM and you accidentally aggro the other faction’s guards by straying too close to their outpost, you are then flagged for PvP. All you have to do is not go to Orgrimmar, and you won’t be force flagged. It’s not that hard.
Just fly to Thunderbluff for 5 minutes. Alliance won’t be an issue.
It’s seven days. You’re losing it for no reason.
