They do not make the game better. Just old played out gatekeeping for no reason besides uncreative development. This trash does not make the game any better in any way at all.

I like them but make them all bound to account 100% of the time
It’s now just awkward having 1 attunement be account-wide and the rest you still have to do
For real they are making people not want to do this on their alts. Total shortsighted decision making by the devs they are like 20 years late on a lot of brain dead decisions though (banning broadcasting is an example) so this is pretty typical of them.

Yeah between feeling like I NEED to grind invasions tonight (Why does clearing 15 bosses in naxx not provide the minimum for leveling for the next week? Invasions should be for alts and catchup) and these cumbersome attunements to even start redeeming my Reals on my alt, it feels like SoD is both extremely alt friendly and not at the same time

BIS name, but I disagree with mains. Once one toon on the account attunes, his lil brothers should not have to, lol…
This is fair, one attunement for the main then the alts get it shared. That’s actually fine.

I’m fine with getting attuned on one toon and then the rest don’t have to or at least maybe halven the requirements. But to do grind to at least honored with AD (for example) on any toon I want to bring to Naxx is very tiresome.
Mains yes, alts no.
what attunement takes you 12 hours/day??? I don’t think you’re doing it right.

Just getting honored to Argent Dawn and farming the mats for rep took me hours. Of course I took breaks, but overall I think it took me about 10 hours around there with spamming dooms and buying frags/fronds/cores from the AH and turning them in. Imagine doing that for 3-4 alts or some number like that, that’s a long time.
It would be even longer if you were broke, unless you just dooms only in which you need to do 15 of them to get to Friendly and 30 of them to Honored (that’s where I stopped). I didn’t do Strat or Scholo, so that might be a factor in my times, but still takes a fair bit per toon.
I do think they should find a better way to do attunements beyond stuffing people into a cave.
For example with Khara, they could have made exploring the top area of the crypts the actual attunement. You kill some trash and something will drop a broken key. You take that back to indiana jones and he fixes it. Boom you are attuned and can unlock a gate blocking the lower levels.
It’s instanced, you get a taste of the dungeon and can go back for more.
World PVP will happen outside the dungeon but your not stuck there getting ganked all day. You can move on and get it done.
