toxic casuals are a really rising epidemic on this game, everyone must play the way they want, everything must be catered to them, the insults flow constantly, its strange seeing grown men lose their mind over losing warsong gulch. The qualifier for this entitlement? they are 39 years old and have a wife. Insane.
You are torturing yourself trying to fill a reputation bar for a carrot that you don’t even know is in the game or not yet. WSG rep going beyond revered was a mistake. Yes i am exalted, take the bracers away.
I have no proof, but I figure a lot of this outrage is fueled by a healthy amount of sockpuppetry. Most people are normal enough, having their fun, and not really getting bent out of shape over these things.
Then you got the guys threatening to quit the game over not having a barbershop or whatever the latest cause for weird flip outs is at the moment.
If you like perspiring in your sweatpants and gaming chair, that’s totally fine dude. But I’m not joining a premade where cheeto fingers shouts at me to purge 6 times without taking a breath. Not happening.
My wife is the only one who tells me what to do, and there is ONE reason I allow it.
Correct, this game originally in comparison to those like UO/EQ it was the most solo friendly game. It still requires a party or raid or whatever to experience the game in its fullest. It is a game meant for group play.
I’m not trying to impose anything. The game designers made SoD with Classic as it’s framework. If they don’t want to change it, then it’s probably the way it’s meant to be.
If that’s the case, then the whining and complaining are the people who are trying to impose something on the game.
I am not against premades, but yes, it basically is unplayable as a solo. Matches are instantly over because the pug players give up as soon as they get stomped by the premade and at this moment, 9 out 10 matches a solo joins is pug vs premade. lol
I mean those that think there should be separate queues are also pretty reasonable about the whole thing. Most of us are just saying we’re probably not queuing and are going to enjoy other parts of the game.
Slight correction: solo players are fully allowed to treat this social, group focused, community-based MMO game like a single player RPG if they want to.
What they can’t do is mandate that experience onto everyone else that is playing this social, group focused, community-based game.
