Stop. Timegating. Content

Would you be happier if bliz removed the tree and just said we’re reducing the drain by 10% each week?

You pay that much cause of the conversion rate from your country too US Dollar…that is not pay more then rest of us…

Just stop, there is absolutely no possible way that you somehow believe that $21is the same as 15. Go back to grade 1 and re-learn basic math

Considering there is more than sanity drain no.

You are forgetting conversion rates… $1 here does not equal $1 equivalent of another countries money…

I’m very well aware of that, hence why I keep saying that by me paying 21 dollars I am in fact paying more than someone paying 15 dollars

I can understand your frustration, but I can also understand why they timegate, if they didn’t, people would run out of stuff to do.

The complaining about timegating is because there is nothing to do

So without timegating, people who rush through content would run out of stuff to do.

And with timegating, EVERYONE runs out of stuff to do.

Which one is worse?

Was going to say the same thing really. Time gating just makes you run out of stuff to do faster. I don’t see how this is any sort of advantage. /shrug

I agree with the OP. I wonder, though, if WoW wouldn’t be far healthier for adopting a more horizontal, expansive and long-term content model centered around the World of Warcraft.

Ah my bad i misread the conversation lol. Sorry.

Nobody is unsubscribing and canceling the money that they sent to Blizzard monthly so they have no incentive to change any of these horrific systems that are clearly aimed at artificially extending time played. If they let you do everything you wanted in one week you would cancel your subscription immediately and I think they’re trying to avoid that.

Wow OP @Drekshift, your post struck a nerve!

(…and I agree)
