Stop silencing Fallen Chrager Group leads

Blizzard if you are silencing Fallen Charger group leads because folks are butthurt over not being able to get into full groups then you are ACTUALLY the bad guys in this situation. You are banning silencing folks for using AN ACTUAL MECHANIC PUT INTO THE GAME FOR THIS VERY REASON. You are apparently your very own THANOS. This is why your community population has dropped considerably. Stupid, idiotic, nonsense is what is driving people from your games. Congratulations when you play stupid games you win stupid prizes. I do not care if I get banned from the forums. I say GOOD DAY.

I’m confused, are people mass reporting group leads because the group is full and blizz’ automated system is handing out silences based on the large amount of reports all at once?

A few things going on here:

  1. People were trolling Fallen up group hunters in the LFG. I had to report many myself. Props to the guy from mal’ganis who was trolling Fallen up hunters on 5 different alts plus the twitch advertisers.
  2. Before the recent change to Fallens lockout, anyone posting wait groups got in the way of those doing it far more effeciently by server hopping. So those leads all got reported to get them out of the LFG UI. Now obviously this is wrong but you have to understand people doing this had all of 10seconds to apply to a fallen up group before it was filled. So speed was of the essence.
  3. The silence system is automatic.No one actually reviews it unless you open a GM ticket.

I genuinely doubt people are mass reporting because they didn’t get into a group. Some may, but they are dumb. Groups fill fast. We’ve all been auto declined due to groups filling. It happens.

But, the sheer amount of people who are trolling, they deserve to be reported.

That said, if some people are abusing the reporting feature and getting honest group leaders silenced, then truthfully, it sucks but I wouldn’t worry. Blizzard isn’t fond of people who false report. So in this case, karma is a thing.

Squelches are automatic based on a number of reports make this happen. Silence only happens when a GM reviews even just one report and finds the person in violation and they apply a silence to the account.

If they get reported and found in violation then yes they should be
