Yes, the massive project to switch the game to account-wide first did not launch properly. Big shocker.
Calling the game unplayable is a massive exaggeration. There were a few minor inconveniences.
Like it or not, pre-patches are basically always the live beta for an expansion to some extent.
The game works fine now, and it’ll work fine in The War Within.

No bugs for me yet. Just too many people in one small Gadgetzen trying to click on quest giver and it keeps reporting “no such quest” or something like it
No, they didn’t. The compensation was for the extended NA server downtime, which is why the EU customers don’t get any form of compensation even though we have all exact same issues, bugs, disabled features, and glitches on our realms.
I was told by a EU “MVP” that my perception that the compensation is also for the plethora of issues is wrong and a result of me not being able to read.
