That’s why default flight always goes back to dynamic flying. Steady flying is going to go the way of the flip phone. It will be phased out over the next few years to where there is no steady flight left. My point, and everyone else that has pointed this out, are saying no it is not a bug that it reverts back to dynamic flight, that is working as intended.

This is about honoring user preferences, not your personal ideas about flight styles.

There are some, but they behave like ground mounts while you have skyriding active. You can’t just put them on your bars to avoid the cast time of the swap.

Flight form. If dragoriding has been automatically reselected by whatever system default they are using, and the druid has not unlocked normal flying, the druid cannot use stag form, ground travel form.

There’s no chance in any reality that they completely phase out the accessibility form of flying outright altogether.

We will see. It’s obvious to me, that is what the plan is. Why else would they lock stable flying and not sky riding to pathfinder? The Pathfinder achievement was first brought with the release of WoD. Blizzard introduced it as a way to gate flying in new expansion zones, requiring players to complete a series of objectives before earning the ability to fly. This system was intended to keep players grounded because Blizzard at the time wanted to phase flying out.

Blizzard at one point considered removing flying from World of Warcraft entirely. In a 2015 interview with Polygon, WoW game director Ion Hazzikostas revealed that Blizzard was contemplating a permanent removal of flying from future expansions as well.

It would not surprise me one bit if that is their intention with locking stable flight behind pathfinder achievement is because of the same motive. To eventually get rid of stable flight in future expansions.

While it seems to me that they were intending to replace normal flying with dragoriding, I don’t think they were prepared for the blowback they got. They were well on the way to extending dragoriding to old content at the start of DF, and had no plans to bring normal flight into the Dragon Isles to announce until much later.

Definitely +1 to THIS!!

I don’t ever want to use Skyriding. If I cannot use my normal flying mounts, I’m quite OK with a ground mount. I would rather walk than use Skyriding ever…

I remember any form of mind control for some reason your char will cast change flight style for some odd reason first out of any other ability.

probably minimum 100k lost subs the day old flying is deleted.
