You travel 15 minutes anywhere in WoW now and all it does is feel empty, not big, just empty.

Im sorry. I didnt see the video. Could you please explain to me why Im supposed to be having fun when they remove things that made MY game fun.
I mean, thats not an entitled concept at all…telling me how Im supposed to enjoy my own game and I should keep paying and pretend I like changes I clearly DONT.

Yeah, I am going to play a mage as soon as they get rid of all the portals so I can make more gold because it will be SOOOO lucrative. Said no one ever lol. Even mages hate this. It’s not about porting to major cities. It’s about porting to locations for old content. Nice try, though.

99% of the people who post in the forums are people who only come here to complain. People happy with this change are just going to skip right over this thread, so using this thread isn’t a good metric. Hilarious how your first comment is insulting anyone that disagrees with you but I can’t say I’m surprised.
Edit: Thay type of person can’t be reasoned with, folks. Counterpoints can be brought up but he’ll only devolve into insults. No idea why so many “old school” people are like this but hey if they want the game to die then I guess taking away what makes it fun is a way to do it.

Haha. I linked my video and it already has 5 dislikes more in less than a minute. Man, people are RAGING mad about this topic. Reminds me of the the people whining about No-Flying.
I don’t even take my mage to major cities anymore. I can’t get anything done if I do. It is just constant whispers from people asking for free portals. That isn’t the type of value and desire that I want. I just want to be able to play the game.

I agree, but how convenient should things be for everybody? Why do mages have portals? Should everybody just have the teleport abilities that mages have? I don’t think that’d feel right, heh.

As a mage I can port from WHERE I AM instead of running all over creation to get to a port AS THEY WERE before these clowns removed them.
As a mage I can port what…every frikking 60 seconds??? As a NONE mage I have to wait 15/30 minutes for a hearthstone CD if Im out in the wild.

YOU can sit here as smug as can be trying to TELL us what WE like in the game WE are paying for, but at the end of the day WE dont like and and Bliz BAD decisions arent going to make us feel like WE need to force ourselves to like your game.
No…instead what will happen is we’ll just keep getting more and more irritated and quit like so many have already done.
So by all means, keep the entitled attitude up and keep telling us what WE had better enjoy.
Lets see where that gets your company and your game over the long haul.

There are people who hate the change, and people it doesn’t effect. This change will add hours of travel time if I was to continue to do the content I currently do every week, and a mage portal wouldn’t cut down a single minute of that. There is no reasonable justification for this change.

So you want to play “Portals of Warcraft” then. Why do we even have a world or zones then? Just make everything an instance.

If mages had portals to the places people want to go from the Legion basement this arguement would make sense - but they don’t, and they are not being added either.
The new portal room will essentially duplicate the mage portals in a more central location, making mage portals even more irrelevant.
It’s a bad arguement. Most of us saying we want to keep portals want to keep the portals to the out of the way places - main cites are already easy to get to from current content portals.

They REMOVED portals that THEY PUT IN and have been there for YEARS.
THEY made it a game of portals, not us.

I already spend more time in the world than 90% of the players because I actually spend time in the old zones, slowing down travel just makes me not want to go farm old rep, it does not make me enjoy the time to get there.

So the game at its current state is Portals of Warcraft. What people want is for them to leave the current portals spanning the world ALONE.
