I think they don’t like the slappy hands animation. I agree with them, I never have liked it. I didn’t like it when it was abom limb, and I don’t like it now. I do however, like what it does in AOE so I feel obligated to keep it.
Abom Limb is the best animation you have bad taste.

Army of the Dead should be a passive and no longer on the talent tree. Unholy Dks should always be summoning/raising undead minions—and not just every 3 minutes. Raise Abomination is single target and Legion of souls is AOE. Army does not have a role currently at the moment.
You can make anything a passive with the one button assistant
AOTD should just be either baseline or moved to left talent tree. Keep the nodes for changing AOTD to unholy. Maybe the general raise undead shoud just be baseline ability instead of a talent
Why’s that? The playstyle is the same. Season 3 Unholy exposed button bloat to be nothing more than an inconvenience that doesn’t make the game more difficult, just more annoying.

Ret feels like garbage because it was pruned to be more bland than even frost dk.
Enhancement is maybe the only spec in the game I can see an argument for a tiny bit of pruning to be done further, but if they overdo it, they will kill that spec, too.
I think the issue is we’ve had more or less the same buttons since what? Legion?

Except that’s not what happened because the core rotation is the same. Unholy just has 2 less global cooldowns in its opener and it actually feels smooth to play for the first time since pre-BFA. You don’t need 3 big cds with global cooldowns.
Unholys ramp is outdated, while it’s weird to get use to - baking the two together isn’t terrible. The spec feels smoother & I get my dmg out faster.
Now if only we could revamp this dollar general combo point system
I don’t think festering wounds should go away but I do think wounds should be applied automatically more frequently.
I’m not convinced wounds are the issue people have, I think they just dislike using festering strike too often.
Another problem I think is a common oversight is the sheer amount of modifiers in our talent tree and toolkit which also contribute to the ramp feeling so awful.
We have Festermight, Death Rot, RotFC, Rune Madtery etc…
Just yesterday in a +10 Halls of Atonement i hit 200k Strength on my Unholy DK.
I think a great improvement would be to turn Festering Wounds into a standalone disease, prune Outbreak and bring back Plague Strike in return and put a whole lot more power into our diseases and spenders.
