I’ve been reading a lot recently on those who complain about not being invited to high mythic level dungeons. This is an MMORPG. It’s crucial that you make friends while leveling and in the open world so that you can make your own groups to push dungeons and high level content.
It’s not blizzards fault because you can’t get invited to groups. It’s not their fault you don’t communicate in the game and refuse to help others or make friends in game. MMORPG requires you be social and interact with others.
Please stop making excuses that the game is bad or other nonsense because you can’t do high level content. Put in the effort to create your own groups and make friends. You can’t just join random groups and then leave without communication. In the end, mythic dungeons and high level content is working as intended. There’s plenty of single player games on the market if you don’t want to be social. Please keep up the good work blizzard. The content is amazing and I hope nothing gets changed and WoW continues being an MMORPG.

I like how people are like “this game is exactly limited to the way I play, it’s a MmOrPg!”
Saying “MMORPG” doesn’t somehow make your opinion more valid. If anything it tells everyone in this post that you don’t know what “multiplayer” means.

A Massively Online Player, huh? That does explain many a thread, actually… Damn, well said.

A lot of these players don’t make friends in this game because they are selfish now. Me me me me me me and I don’t care about anyone else mentality isn’t great for making friends.

Someone is boasting that they have friends and you don’t. And since you don’t have a group of buddies that do want you want to do you aren’t allowed to have fun or progress in a game you like.
You don’t fit in therefore get out.
That is the message I’m getting from op.

Then let this be the mountain you die on.
It’s not crucial that you do that in an MMORPG. It’s become so in this MMORPG.
And this board would be a hell of a lot better if half the threads weren’t derp like this.

All my friends went Horde.
Wanna pay for my transfers, OP?
Saying the game is an MMORPG is a mere excuse for toxic behavior.
Let’s stop here… “It’s an MMORPG, all content should be gated by player based communities and these Filthy scrubs are entitled To Nothing!”
“Class Identity is important, players do not deserve choices nor freedom of what they do and should be treated as nothing more than mere disposable resources; regardless of skill.”
“These filthy casuals are ruining the game! People who play for fun instead of treating this game as a fulltime career should be exiled from the game, who cares if they enjoy the story, it stinks!”
The term “It’s an MMORPG” seems to putting other’s down.
“It’s a MMORPG let’s bring back the Ninja Looters, let’s bring back the monopolies, we do not give a crap about option content, we just want kick abusing to be meaningful, we’re sick of these filthy scrubs playing the game for fun!”
“Bring back the TBC Heroic Difficulty, and let these filthy scrubs cry until they blood pores from their eyes.”
“IT’S A MMORPG THE PLAYER’S CHOICES DOES NOT MATTER, WE WANT TO RUIN THE GAME FOR OTHER PEOPLE!”
A as a Wrath Baby myself, I have to say Wrath of the Lich King is overrated since the expansion itself is where toxic behavior was at its peak.
Speaking about getting rid of Covenants yet say the Alliance and Horde are the core part of faction identity however from the perspective from a Death Knight with the face of a Flying Rodent, how about we get rid of both the Alliance and Horde along with the covenants. No Patriotism for anyone!

i dont think ppl contest that its an mmorpg.
it’s not open world but its def an mmorpg
MMORPG it stands for massively multiplayer online. If you can’t make friends through the multiplayer experience, don’t expect to push the highest tier of content. Blizzard is not going to reduce to difficulty so you can solo your way to the top.
How about not telling people how to play a game?
Some of us have lost friends in WoW due to death, friendship breaking up over stupid reasons, ppl with social anxiety, ect. So, basically, not wanting to socialize for these reasons and more
I want to relax when I get on WoW now. No more competitive stuff. no more @ssholes. just fun. Sounds like you might want to visit this too.

It’s not a massively friends online, multiplayer means there’s other players, it doesn’t restrict that concept to grouping.
