Stop kicking people for being Survival/Feral/Enhancement, for real

I had a group from Quel’thalas last week for De Other Side.

They only spoke Spanish, but still invited me, and didn’t say anything about being Survival (go go Copy/Paste addon and Google Translate).

I’m maintaining 3 characters with a 4th coming up soon.

I already dont have the anima on my druid to upgrade her sanctum.

Damn, that’s rough. I have encountered this in BfA though, so not gonna pretend it doesn’t happen.

All I can suggest is to keep trying. Do the leg work now, it’ll pay off later. When you have a high io rating and clear proof that you know what you’re doing to these pugs, they’d be foolish to reject you. And along the way, others will see how awesome it really is. I don’t think it’s just me! People will get past the stigma as they realize there’s no reason for it.

I’m not even Venthyr, but I keep surprising myself in dungeons. Even when I handpick a group of people 10-20 ilevels higher than myself (yeah, you get used to putting together your own groups when you’re Enhancement), I’ve been topping them consistently.

I’m not a great player, at all. The spec is just in a really good spot.

It’s rather funny considering that feral performance is like in the top 6 dps for Castle Nath.

I’ve never been rude about it but sometimes I want ranged. I should prolly get better about asking beforehand but I find that is more often than not the reason people don’t like seeing surv/feral/enh in groups.

I PLAY feral but never got kick once. Some group might want to limit the number to melee since range is a lot easier to avoid a lot of the damage melee takes.

Pre-conceived biases are very hard to break. It sucks, and it’s not fair.

You have all week though. It’s all cosmetic stuff still, I’m in no rush to get it personally. So long as you keep up on your souls you can gather anima while you go.

Unless, of course, the anima upgrades are more important to you than gearing or dungeons. Which no judgment if that’s the case, I would understand the frustration more.

Most ppl are not even going to bother doing a M0 unless to get a keystone or do the occasionaly 4 mythic weekly. It’s rather hilarious ppl are asking for that high of ilvl.

I don’t bring survival hunters to my M groups most of the times, I usually plan on the hunter being ranged and when its the last DPS spot and I already have 2 melee dps I don’t want a 3rd.

Nearly the same with enhancement. Not completely uncapped (since hailstorm has a limit of 6 and chainlightning 3) but our main rotation for AoE has two of the 20 target cap abilities. 3 if you get sundering (which you should).

Like we go Crash lighting (soft cap 20) -> empowered stormstrike (soft cap 20) -> chain lightning (cap 3) -> empowered lava lash (soft cap 20) -> repeat. With toss in a sundering if you have that and replace empowered lava lash with hailstorm if you have it.

These people might just be looking for rdps. All of these specs are doing well right now, especially Enhancement.

Well they aren’t wrong. All the specs you mentioned are trash but its their group, their rules. Form your own group.

it’s almost as if all those classes have ranged specs that people are probably expecting. especially because MM and balance are OP ranged right now.

Best suggestion is to get the wow companion app and unlock the command table as fast as possible. A lot of 30 anima quests that only cost 10-14 anima show up there. So it’ll be slow but you can slowly a-mass anima that way.

Isn’t that when you are SUPPOSED to start them? you get 171 from heroics. So assuming you have a full 171 set + a legendary you dont have anywhere else to go, except raid finder.

And what is common amongst all three specs? They are all melee. Most of the M+ dungeons and affixes favor Range over melee, so why bring survival when you can bring MM/BM, or why bring Feral when you can bring Balance etc.

Yes survival is better than BM for raw numbers and enhacment better than elemental, but being melee is a major handicap.

Has this happened every week? Or more last week when doing a mythic dungeon was a weekly quest? I find that when mythics are a weekly the groups and their attitudes are the worst. Many may be people who don’t typically play M+ and many may be annoyed by the number of inexperienced signing up.

Having mythics as a weekly quest is like an affix itself.

Most likely it’s due to the unlimtied mobility and that they are a ranged class.
