SOD clearly is dead and an even bigger disaster than Season of Mastery.

Every normal person knew it after the reveal trailer at Blizzcon.

Can you just stop doing seasons and release an unaltered, UNALTERED fresh Classic? The only version of the game worth playing.

Stop listening to the community and keep your chronoboon/layers out of this once good game.

Commenters, dont even mention Classic Era. Classic Era is not Classic. Classic Era has been defiled with the open world killing Chronoboon, a free Rank 14 handout PvP system and is stuck in the worst phase, phase 6 with its TBC-level gear.

Plenty of people still playing Sod. Long wolf US is massive and has stuff going on all over in the world. Nobody wants fresh unaltered classic. That’s why Era is dead dude. A TINY MINORITY CARE ABOUT A FRESH CLASS IC ITS NOT WORTH THEIR TIME. Sod is the future. Classic plus is the future. Go play a private server if you want old vanilla. Quit being a dinosaur.

Just out of curiosity:
Can you get all the “#no changes Classic Fresh” people like your OP here?

I’m kinda curious as to how many of you there actually are, now that we did 2019 classic and players were hostage to it due to their wow options being “Classic” and “Season 3 BfA”
during a Pandemic lockdown.

Lots of people got reminders of just how trash vanilla classic is in a lot of ways.
Let’s see how many people want a rehash of the “nochanges” vanilla. They should like your post, and then reply to keep it bumped. I’m curious.

(Who knows, maybe there’s more than 1000 of you?)

EDIT: I’m reasonably positive that we’re going to at least get the other three keyboardmen of classic.

No it won’t.

Bro, you can literally just make fresh happen. You can literally just get a group of people together and collectively decide you’re playing “fresh” and do it, the same way people collectively just made up rules for how Hardcore would work and they just did it.

If Fresh was popular, players would have just banded together and done fresh initiatives on their own as communities. The truth is, there’s simply not a draw there. There is simply not a draw. There is not. No, there is not.

I know some Classic Andies IRL, they say that if there is a lull in SoD or SoD becomes unfun they’re going to Turtle WoW. Not some fresh private server, but to the closest Classic+ substitute. Era-style WoW is dead. It’s over. SoD showed how much better the OG world can be and there’s no going back to #NoChanges.

Lol the true classic experience. Everyone 4 classes meta meta meta. Everyone consumes every resist needed. Sweatlords and gdkp. It truly was a classic experience.

Imagine poopsocking so you can get R14. Or rushing around grabbing your World Buffs and then logging out until ‘raid night’, where you screech at the warlock to hurry up and summon; buffs are wasting! Then log off until the first pull is about to happen; buffs still wasting!

If they do do a Classic relaunch. They should make it Type: PVP, and specifically state that Dispelling is a legitimate form of PVP, and provided no other infractions are done while doing so, you will not be banned for dispelling WBs.

Cold-take: Classic+ should completely redo the PvP system from the ground up.

Ideally, I’d love to see a TBC style honor system with RBGs for the best gear. No Arenas, just RBGs.

Not often I throat the entire statement, but I 100% agree with every part of this.

RBGs is the best replacement for the honor system. Damn they would be so fun in Vanilla/TBC

People out there still believe that if there was a true Classic without boon etc that it wouldn’t die in a month.

Delusional and Blizzard know it that’s why it won’t happen. Not financially viable.

I’d be happy with a classic+ that:

Removed WB’s, thereby also nerfing melee a bit in the process
Gave pallies a taunt
Removed the debuff limit
Allowed HoT’s to stack
Kept the GDKP ban in place
