it was a content drought that took forever for cataclysm to come out, ontop of cataclysm being AWFUL, and the end of the WC3 storyline that lead to people leaving.

I played from Vanilla through into Cata.
LFD was a reason, even if it wasn’t said. Dungeon groups done with LFD often fell apart, part because the dungeons were a mess, but also because the people getting thrown together by LFD didn’t all have the skills needed to tackle the dungeons.
Again, people point to it as a “reason” on these forums. I’ve commented on several of those threads in the past.
You’re running around killing people. It’s a confrontational situation by nature.
How many times do people on the same team actually cooperate? Not often. Your goals are simply similar and you give the appearance of “working together” because you are attacking the same thing.
Dungeons, not being that same mode of play, require ACTUAL cooperation, or you just get slaughtered and have to start again, or your group falls apart.
BGs and dungeons are NOT the same scenarios.
I get it you saw YouTube video memeing it so you thought it was real.
Hunter’s actually have a rotation that changes throughout the whole fight if I clip One auto shot I fail
I have to keep a pet alive that’s 30% of my DPS meaning I do melee mechanics and range mechanics.
Compare that to the average rotation of arcane blast and shadowbolt…
That’s not an argument any more than telling someone to “Go post on your Classic character”.

Oh my god, pet management and weaving raptors in? Are you an actual genius or the greatest hunter to ever play the game.
Imagine doing more dps in phase 1 than most classes do in phase 4 and then saying your class is hard to play.
What are you talking about? This is my warlock from classic, I have a rogue that I play in tbc… those are my two characters.
Imagine think DPS correlates to EZ class…
Your class was a meme on private servers because you could literally use a macro to do your entire rotation for you.
Imagine thinking anything in classic is even remotely challenging outside of actually filling a raid with enough people and distributing loot to needy whiners.
I stopped playing TBC mid-way when the Blizzard scandal came out. Came back for Wrath. This is my main character. Acting like I haven’t played this game since original WoTLK, bug off.

You are referring to doing a perfect rotation without any mistakes… this is hard to do on most classes that aren’t a one button spam.
You do not fail when you clip a single auto… you do marginally less damage. On top of that everyone is doing way more damage than they were doing in actual tbc… so again … you aren’t failing, you’re just setting the bar for success at perfection.
This is the character I post on, I’ve posted on my rogue to shut people like you up before… but truthfully I don’t care and I have nothing to prove to you. Sure my parses are green yep you win so smart hope you have kids to spread the good genes.
Fun fact… before I posted on this character I used to post on my original 19 twink from actual vanilla. When shadowlands came out and blizzard did the level squish my twink became level 9 and was at that point not able to post on the forums… so I switched to this character.
