Effective health increase because stamina increases
Armor reduction nerfs Warrior Strength tho
Also BM and Warlocks didn’t need buffs and the Armor + HP changes help them more than any other DPS

back to the current time line, the ehp gap between cloth and plate against physical damage has shrunk more than 50%
Tfw sub rogues literally got buffed across the board with this change
i wonder if thats the intended idea to avoid having abilities needing to be balanced around “well it sometimes does significantly less damage”
they basically ignored most armor anyways
It’s totally intended to standardize physical damage in PvP, which is a good idea
However, I think Plate specs are going to wind up needing offsetting buffs because Warrior, Windwalker, and Hunter all have A or S tier damage. And outside of Unholy DK, the rest of the plate aren’t even great into magic and frequently play scared or get ran circles around.
Blizz will probably wind up handing plate classes even more HP or buffing their rotational defensives like Ignore Pain and Flash of Light
Warriors getting nerfed HARD with this nerf btw. We get a vast majority of our str via armor so yea make that s teir into z teir
well this is highly exaggerated.
I mean warriors are heroic leaping into woodchippers now instead of behind pillars to die. It is 100% over and nowhere to go from here unless they unnerf martial prowess and give us our crit dmg buff back
Lets give you some facts to help your case: 30% less armor in pvp translates to roughly a 3% reduction to all damage done.

for arms it will probably be a little bit more, since I was doing the numbers as fury which has another ~1000 strength from the off hand weapon.
about 3.2% reduction for fury and 3.4% reduction for arms.
do you know how much more physical damage they’ll take?
