yeah stop it, it’s unfair to wod, it doesn’t deserve to be compared to something so bad and horrible as bfa.

Wod was terrible but it was 4 years ago, we should have a better wow bu now
Let’s put it this way. WoD had very little content. However, most of the content that it did have was good.
BFA has a lot more content. It has a lot more stuff that is outright bad, especially at the beginning. So to be fair, BFA has definitely gotten a lot better. Azerite gear at the start was lazy and bad. The artifact neck at the start was a boring stat stick. However, azerite gear has since gotten better and essences, while the acquisition of some really suck and make it not alt friendly, make the artifact an actual feature.
Perhaps something that we are getting sick of is the borrowed power. In WoD class design had all power attached to the character. Since Legion, we’ve gotten a lot of power baked into temporary stuff. Sure it may be fresh, but i think blizz just went all in on freshness instead of maintaining a balance.
I still think BFA is better than WoD for the simple quantitt of content. While BFA started bad, I think many people might rank it higher than bottom 2 if some of these features had been in from the start instead of gradually.
see, i’m just not getting that. am i the only one? they have doubled down on the bad. BfA has gotten worse with 8.3, and i didn’t think that was even possible.

I find it disturbing people think its all right for a game company of Blizzards experience to take 3 major patches to make it better.

Pardon the necro-post. Busy days. Any way. WoD most assuredly did have problems. No doubts about that. Though I find myself forced to ask how was the content bad, aside from the obvious large swaths that got cut. Some of which was cut based on the beta testers. So you can thank them for some of that.
The garrisons as a concept I actually like. That it feeds you almost all of your craft materials is kind of a problem in my opinion. I imagine most people had issues with it being core to the WoD experience too.
How dare you as a paying customer dare expect better from the company you are paying to entertain you! /sarcasm

WoD I had fun threw the short content and enjoyed all my toons.
BFA no fun, except a little in Mechagon Island. not even playing in 8.3 awful.

Everyone has to quit hoping its gonna get better. Its painfully obvious this team is never going to make WoW good again. Their design decisions are actually terrible. Classes are boring, 0 skill cap in the game now, 4 difficulties of a raid, gear is trivial as hell. Gone are the days of good WoW.
WoD sucked, but with all the internal problems that faced Blizzard at the time, looking back, it was understandable.
However, with the benefit of hindsight, this should NOT have happened again in BfA.
Remember when Blizzard was “We’ll release stuff when it’s ready and we’re happy with the product” to now where the N’zoth/Black Empire ending was the best they could do…
