Hopefully we’ll see some kind of one-time easy covenant swap introduced. If you want us to pick a covenant and stick with it, as evidenced by the PITA it is to switch and catch up, then stop changing covenant abilities. How can we make a meaningful choice if things keep changing every patch?
Either leave covenant abilities unchanged, or make it easier to swap.
In the old talent system we used to get free resets when they changed talents, this is basically the same thing.
They aren’t changing them though, it’s still going to be me forced onto night fae on all of my characters

They are changing some on the PTR currently. It’s just PTR, so maybe it won’t happen, but it’s a little concerning that they’re changing some somewhat significantly. For example, warrior Necrolord is reworked. They should not be reworking covenant abilities without making it easy to swap.
It’s like chasing trends has a drawback.
In other to be competitive you need to use the meta covenant, and then the one time swap for players who may have regrets.
Honestly I’m glad they’re reworking necrolord warrior. Maybe now I won’t be the only one in the seat.
Now if only they’d buff fodder to the flame and adaptive swarm next.

Disagree, I qued for RBG yolos and was told I should have rolled Kyrian for the Spear. The WoW community has become so toxic they are literally discriminating classes based on Covenant and Class!
You’re better off not grouping with them then. Find a group who won’t care what covenant you choose to be.

I qued about 9 groups, after being declined I just went back to being deleted in Bgs.
They need to change some. Some are chosen at least than 4%. The skills are atrocious while the popular choice is at 90%>
That merits a tuning and change.
Then they should allow us to swap freely, at least once. How can they ask us to make a “choice” if they keep changing the terms of the deal?
That sucks. But don’t give up.
If you like necrolord warrior than stick to your guns. You’re bound to find a group that sees the bigger picture.
The banner boosts crit. Fire mages and destro locks will be in love with you.
The powers should have never been dependent on Covenant… Only mogs… But unfortunately that horse has left the barn

Better idea: delete covenants.
It’s not about chasing trends. They presented us 4 covenants, and asked us to choose one. They made switching a real pain. Now they’re changing some of the abilities, which might have changed our original choice.
