Eh, the Alliance’s symbol has always been more dismissed and generic than that of the Horde.

Its obviously not something they do in stormwind regardless no one called Varian Lion, they called him wolf but that was cause his whole long journey as gladiator etc, unless its a long tradition to refer to Wrynn family as thier fursonas

He helped defeat the Legion in their 3rd invasion and lead the Alliance to victory in the 4th War. He earned the title, deal with it.

Little Lion is why Anduin went in to politics. Can you imagine going in to certain entertainment industries with a name “Little Lion”? …hic!
Little lion is a simple reference to his being Varian’s son, as is obvious all over wow, not some ‘furry agenda’ as you try to portray it to be.

So no, it makes perfect sense that the man frequently referred to as Lion, who rode a Lion also, has his son referred to as little lion, which yes is her mocking him, not a ‘furry reference’
