Stop asking for QOL changes

I get wanting to change difficulty, adding content, balance - whatever. I get wanting all those things because I can definitely relate to that. However, wanting QOL changes is completely idiotic when you have RETAIL which you have available to play at any point. There is really nothing that wrong with most BFA content itself, the zones look good, the raids are good etc. What makes people want to play classic are the SYSTEMS in place and changing all those things will ruin the game.

I honestly feel like most people are just too low iq to even understand how small changes affect the broader game - they can only see one step ahead like they’re a hamster.

I don’t want to let ā€œgive me dungeon finderā€ take over the forums. If blizzard listened it would be a tragedy.

None of us want dungeon finder but some of us more reasonable people would like a barber shop or guild bank… I don’t know why people have a stroke over these things people talk about a slippery slope I don’t agree at all barber shops and dungeon finder have no correlation whatsoever

No. Outside is hard.

I think Blizzard is well aware that the majority is against QOL changes. A lot of the QOL people have quit or gone back to retail already. You’ll see most of the rest vanish in the next few months once they realize those things aren’t going to happen.

I don’t really care about guild banks or barber shops, they don’t really effect the game. My issue is with the posts gaining traction with ā€œclassic is bad, blizzard need to make changes to make it betterā€. I have seen at least two posts on the forums main page today requesting dungeon finder to be added to make the game better.

If anything I wouldn’t mind the old group finder where you just put your role and your desired dungeon and you manually pair yourself with eachother through whisper… would make the whole process way more clean and quick without compromising the dungeon walk part so people can’t afk in cities

Stop asking for people to stop asking for things!

Oh, wait…

I’m one of the types that think ā€˜If it doesn’t affect gameplay directly, then go for it’. I mean, we have addons anyway that we could easily pick up if we wanted things like the calendar installed early on. I don’t use quest addons, but I know a lot of people swear by them.

Besides, I think some QoL changes are practically mandantory. For example, the colorblind adjustments in the UI. I don’t think anyone could really complain about that one, can they?

Topic is on QOL changes which stands for quality of life changes. Balance changes or content do not fall under QOL.

Barbershop and Dungeon Finder both came from Wrath. That’s their correlation.

So you do want a Dungeon Finder.

Okay, there’s a line to be drawn. The area the line is being drawn right now is based on fear mongering and slippery slope arguments. Some changes would be catastrophic, this is true. But others would have literally no effect but make the game more accessible to some people. For instance, I want is the ability to have the map NOT be full screen. I would also like to have pets listed on the side for regular dungeons to be able to dispel certain things or heal them if a hunter is pulling tank duty.

Naw. I would love to see dungeon finder put into Classic. I have time to run a dungeon, I don’t have time to sit outside a dungeon waiting for people to ā€œfind one last quest dropā€.

Ah, fresh meat. What exactly constitutes as ā€œinterferring with the gameā€?

I already know this. I called you out on it, as soon as you made your thread about changes, in general.
