Let the game mode die the death it deserves. Stop giving them a reason to add or fix anything. I hit 40 and feel like i went through a torture chamber. This was not fun and no one asked for it. Let it die.

I feel ya. I think they should just leave it as it is and add more modes including PvE only modes. There’s plenty of good ideas on these forums for PvE only modes. They will probably realize even more that battle royale isn’t that popular for some people. But for anyone that enjoys battle royales, they can just leave it as an option.
