Blizzard has already made it clear they are not modifying the game to everyones happiness. If anything they’ll nerf vanilla some more like they did loot drops from world trash mobs. Dont ask for class changes to be change from pink to blue, dont ask for removal of boosting, dont cry about changes that would invovled money and dedication. eXpect nothing from this company but your login and time.
I don’t understand the people who are asking for changes to Classic are NOT in the retail forums asking for changes to Retail. Many of them just want Classic to stop being Classic, they want it to morph into TBC or Wrath or some amorphous Classic +. If people had put half the time and energy into saving Retail that they have put into trying to ruin Classic, we would all be playing Retail.
Tbc has like ten zones and trivializes 1-60, makes azeroth a ghost town, flying mounts is the beginning of the end to destroying the real world immersion as you fly over every single obstacle and PvP.
I get really turned off knowing lvl 61 greens are on par or better than raid gear from classic raids. Yuck.
Tbc is the beginning of the end my friend. If they bring tbc servers I will be rerolling on a fresh classic server.
I see this argument against TBC often, and it makes no sense. Did you get turned off that level 50 quest greens were better than level 20 dungeon blues?
You have been replacing gear from the moment you started playing. Why does it matter that it keeps happening at 61?
And did you stop raiding at MC? Naxx gear can last you all the way up to 70.
You’re either blind or inept. There were crowds of people making suggests, proposing fixes and offering alternatives to what BFA turned into. The devs did not care nor listen. That is not the fault of the player base. Totally clueless…
What is 1-60 feels part of my “hometown”. I know a level 29 blue isn’t as good as a level 39 blue and it will be replaced. But simply by virtue of being part of my hometown, that is azeroth and every 1-60 zone in the classic game, it feels involved, a meaningful progression, natural.
When you introduce tbc and tell me to go through a portal to a new planet, and everything I did before I entered that portal has zero influence on what I’ll be doing on the new side of the portal, it makes everything feel worthless and cheap. I like my hometown. Why would I go somewhere else where they’re giving away green items that for no reason are stronger than gear I found in a raid? It feels trivial.
It is an ugly system that says, hey if you liked the old stuff, too bad were changing it, come to tbc or don’t play anymore.
I don’t think one argument is right or wrong, I believe you are on one side or the other and that’s unfortunate considering it excludes someone in the end.
I forgot the part where they remade classic servers part of a retail sub due to high amounts of players on pservers which lit blizzards eyes up with green $$ signs.
Oh.
Without classic, tbc is hollow, ten zones, flying around in circles. It’s not the better game.
I mean. That raid gear you got will make the first few level much easier at the very least. So you will have a step up on those who didn’t raid.
I can’t speak for anyone else, but I raid/play for the experience. I have fun speed clearing raids and dungeons with 39 other people. New zones don’t take that away.
If you find that ugly, you don’t have to play. Let the game end at KTs defeat.
It’s a new game? Those who did Vanilla end game will get to 70 faster than those who don’t. Expecting everyone who steps foot into BC to have killed KT would be asinine.
No, we want you to STOP CHEATING!!! Stop exploiting the every living F out of the game.
This is supposed to be a recreation of vanilla, not your pirated servers.
Yes, please please please stay in classic vanilla. Tell all of your friends to stay as well. You stay there with your no changes, and exploit to your heart’s content.
I mean, this isn’t true. I legit didnt start replacing armor till I was nearly 70. Early greens are only better than like MC/ZG gear. BWL, AQ, Epic PVP and Naxx gear hold up pretty well.
The real reason TBC is bad is because Horde Paladins and Alliance Shamans. Blizzard did a cop out, homogenizing factions so they could spend less effort on raid design and testing.
You’re so poorly informed and dimwitted it would literally be a crime to give you anymore attention beyond this. Go learn common sense or something.
What about loving classic = being an exploiter. You just generalized thousands of players.
Unlike you, my generalization towards you and your lack of brains is based on fact in your post. I don’t exploit and I report anyone that is. Please please please stop playing mmo games because your common denominator minimal level of critical thought is the reason retail wow is garbage.
Okay the majority of players spend money on an expansion, they get access to the portal, they proceed to be handed greens that are better than max level 40 man content within minutes of their expansion purchase.
I don’t know how much more cheap you can make a game experience feel? But okay.
Tbc has many things that resemble the beginning of the end, and like you said about paladin/shaman being shared with both factions, indeed does ruin the magic of wow. Just one of many things that show why retail is bad.
