if you think about it asking for changes shows something… it shows a lot of players like things from retail and a lot of others like things from classic… maybe blizzard will find what exactly people like about classic… and put some of those things into retail… its weird how a lot of players want retail features in classic but they dont wanna play retail they just want a couple small things from that version into this one… if blizzard can find out why this is maybe the next expansion will have even classic fans enjoying it

If there’s one thing I’ve learned it’s that the only thing Blizzard likes better than grand pronouncements is making money. There will be changes.
Not according to Ion. ANY changes at all means losing hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars per month in subs. They aren’t going to touch it if they know what’s good for them
Private server players will just go back to those servers, and will most likely end up taking many other people who never previously played on one with them if that happens. If they expect to be trusted and taken seriously as a company, this will not happen

Majority or not it’s a VERY significant portion of the playerbase and IS the audience that Classic was made for. Retail folks expecting Classic to conform to THEM is an extremely entitled and selfish viewpoint. Classic is our ONLY refuge from retail, and to hell with anyone who wants to take it away from us

Well duh…not everyone who plays the game participates in discussions in the forums. That doesn’t mean that there aren’t more people who don’t want Classic to change.
Btw I can name off a LOT more than 7 people who have strongly advocated against changes in these forums

Despite all promises and predictions, I highly doubt today’s Blizzard will be able to resist screwing up classic forever.
Why should we not play the game as we played it during vanilla?
Asking for changes is part of that.
I dont even know what that means…
It’s either they do nothing and keep true to their word or they do something and go for broke.
