Stop. allowing. ve'nari camping

Not sure if folks would like it or not, but I wouldn’t be against PvP WQs having a minuscule amount of rated honor tucked away in them. Just like a very, veeeery small amount though.

The Alliance WM benefits should be the baseline. Its kind of stupid to give one faction more rewards than the other. Especially when you do play on a cluster where Alliance outnumbers the Horde and they still get the benefits.

Yep, pretty much how I remember it aswell.

There were a lot of funny things about PvP servers that shook out over the years, and you’ve pinpointed one of them.

Most PvP servers were single-faction servers, essentially. People moved there, or rolled there, on the dominant faction, because they really didn’t want to PvP. A lot of people moved or rolled on PvP servers to raid with certain guilds, with zero interest whatsoever in PvP. That’s why there were complaints from people on PvP servers, about… PvP. Which was always really silly.

That’s why Blizzard eliminated PvP servers: Too many people were on them who didn’t actually want to PvP.

Like The legion warden towers and murloc stuff? those worked really well, I had tons of fun in those and farmed lots of honor. Specially when the murloc was open and you could attack any faction.

I remember this nelf Rogue who killed everyone because rogues were OP in open word and could one shot people so I preveentively karma’d her and she exploded herself lol.

So you admit that pvp servers were a dead concept?

Got it.

So much this lol OP get over it man. Horde caused this problem you can thank your own faction for it. Knowing blizz though they will cater to the babies like usual though.

I think WoW PvP is bad, always has been, and always will be. If I want to PvP, I do it in a game designed for PvP.

Yeah I think it would be a way to get folks to not only participate in WM, but also act as an alternative for rated honor gain. Though there’s no honor among thieves so gaining rated honor from WQs doesn’t make a whole lotta sense.

BFA was such a wild ride from beginning to finish with this community.

The thing that made PvP servers great was the community and how some players gained notoriety. That can’t happen with sharded servers so they were obsolete and not fun anymore.

WoW pvp is great when it’s meant to work, world pvp is not one of those cases. WoW was actually designed with pvp in mind from the beginning, hence why they were adamant about two factions.

Problem is the community has made it a joke . World pvp can never be balanced, Random bgs became ifnested by premades and rated bgs are pretty much nothing.

Only arenas are the good mode to pvp in WoW.

pvpers do need more ways to win honor to gear tbh so it’s fine IMO.

What are you going on about? The only thing I’m complaining about is the constant whining on this forum about WM, which could easily be solved if Blizzard just stopped bribing people to turn it on who don’t want to PvP.

Not existing in the mode. A la mode? Would this be not existing in the ally mode?

And as an aside, I don’t know where the threshold is from when pvp is accepted to when it becomes griefing but it seems like 40 is the magic number. A squad? Golden. A large platoon? Griefing.

I played DAoC for 5 years and they never had to do the constant buff/nerf cycle that Blizzard has always done. That was a game actually designed for PvP that was :scream: balanced.

Man I miss RF online

When the server implodes due to characters in the zone…so 40 sounds about right. :upside_down_face:
