NO
You have to give an incentive for everything. People would not even breathe if there was no incentive to live.
The issue is that people is just activating WM for the bonus without doing it for the pvp…

Oh so you mean the things I’m putting in extra work by fighting off Horde that attempt to gank me either solo or with groups?
The problem is that they can’t even get to the area to attempt the objective. Of course people will want the bonus, otherwise why have it.
The buff is only there because the Alliance complain more, it has no relation to in-game numbers.
This is EXACTLY what the horde has been doing to alliance since PVP began.
That’s why you turned on PvP, though: to PvP.
Got proof of that?
Yeah. Read the thread.
100% on board with you… Im soooo sick of this too.
Gank or killing around it’s fine but this people do this even when dialies are about to reset or server is about to shut down
Why do people assume that those who turn on WM for bonuses don’t want to PvP at the same time?

Adding Warmode world quests was a good step in the right direction. Don’t know how good they are, but if they offer good PvP incentives then that’s a good way to boost participation.
If you want the bonus, PVP!
If you want the bonus but hate PVP, either l2p and stop whinning or warmode it off and go no bonus.
Why do people assume that those who turn on WM for bonuses don’t want to PvP at the same time?
Because so many of them turn on WM for bonuses, then come here and complain about PvP.
Remember when Horde dominated the start of BFA and alliance just turned warmode off instead of complaining?
I don’t, I remember them being pretty damn vocal about it lol.
Yeah. Read the thread.
I did
Then I read how it actually works based on blizzards discription.
So I guess I should believe 1 mad boi over the company that designed it?
Hnetu:
Then Horde would just complain they have noone to kill
Okay. Let them.
Hnetu:
as you can see from OP… No one likes getting camped while massively outnumbered.
Actually, what this shows is that there are plenty of Alliance who will turn on war mode just to beat up Horde.
Did you miss the part where there’s currently an incentive…
Zanther:
You mean the against the odds quest that the horde we also doing, but in greater numbers than the alliance since we still had the buff?
The buff is only there because the Alliance complain more, it has no relation to in-game numbers.

It was a weird time when Alliance were complaining about dying and then Horde started complaining about Alliance not existing in the mode.

I’m confused. Blizzard has the participation data, so if the Horde is still outnumbering the Alliance within WM, then the % would stay the same. If the Alliance are participating then the % would go down.
That’s how it’s supposed to work.
I’m pretty sure in Asia it’s flipped isn’t it? Horde have AOO on their end?
Quick edit, though one core issue is with the Americas counting with Oceanic participation since their faction levels are Alliance > Horde. If Blizzard wants to keep WM perks in they should at least make it shard specific.
Eh don’t give much credit to Brewa on this kind of stuff, not worth trying to debate that seriously.
Why do people assume that those who turn on WM for bonuses don’t want to PvP at the same time?
It’s called WAR mode. It is for PVP. You turn it on, you are accepting the possibility someone at some time is going to take a shot at you. If people cannot accept that, then turn it off.
Like joining a team and being shocked you are asked to play.
