We are horde and are on the receiving end of world pvp. It’s like BFA but reversed.
Turn off warmode if you can’t handle it.
Gaming vs real life:
Gaming
-Turns on PvP to gain free bonuses.
PvP happens
-Runs to forums
Real Life
-Joins army for free education.
War happens
-Runs to Canada.

Finally a horde post with some meaning, this is a great idea. The server I am on is already alliance dominated and a lot of alliance dominated shards and servers are out there. It most definitely does need a WM bonus change.

I think this is the goal. Problem is the tech might be very hard to get there.
After all the shard would’ve to change on a whim depending what players enter. Though that would definitely be more fair.

The change on the fly sharding system is just lame…imo.

While I generally agree with those saying this guy should just turn WM off, I do think there ought to be some thought put into what kinds of designs incentivize this sort of griefing. I think players will always find a way to grief and that’s not going to change, but leaving in bottlenecks that you simply can’t pass if enough people are dedicated to stopping you just discourages people from using War Mode even more than PvP itself already does.
By the way, I play with WM off almost 100% of the time. So I’m not complaining about this particular problem or any other world PvP problem.

You literally voluntarily turned on PVP and are complaining about PVP. Literally just hearth out and to turn off WM. It’s that easy.
Remove the WM bonus to stygia gains and im confidant 100% of the horde will have no problem turning it off. The issue is that stygia leads to sockets which leads to an increase in power. There shouldnt be a bonus to gained stygia due to WM, period.

Tbh I’m surprised they even have PvP enabled in the Maw. It’s the literal hell and it’s feeding off souls…why folks fightin’ in there? Storywise…it just doesn’t make sense.
