Stonetalon mountains have no quests for me. Anyone run into this?

So I’m trying to go back and re-acquire all my achievements for quests and seem to have run into yet another snag. I can’t seem to find any quests in stonetalon mountains, I am 2/40 to the achievement and not a single NPC will offer me a quest. I’ve gone to every quest-giver there and none of them have anything for me that isn’t just dialogue.

If anyone’s run into this same issue and knows what’s up please let me know. I’ve done most of ashenvale (62+ quests) so I highly doubt it’s a breadcrumb from there but could be wrong.

I haven’t had that issue, but I should warn you, that achievement is currently bugged. Completing it doesn’t give credit towards Loremaster.

That’s because the quest to go there actually starts in Ashenvale. I think it’s at the Silverwing Refuge Camp or somethin like that.

You talk to the NPC to get a quest to go to Stonetalon via carriage and they drop you off and then you can start questing.

(Source: Done Stonetalon many many times on retail, which is what Cata Stonetalon is at this point)

Is it? I was thinking you might need to turn on low level quest tracking in options.

I was hoping so, but after this post I made sure to do every quest available in all surrounding zones. The only one left is “To Hellscream’s Watch” in Ashenvale and that NPC will not offer me any quests let alone dialogue hinting at anything. Pretty sure this is yet another case of cata being absolutely buggy trash… All the tracking for low level quests is enabled, and there isn’t a single thing available to me from any NPC in the zone, I checked very thoroughly.

I just went there right now on my 85 rogue, to the Silverwing Refuge (just northwest of Stardust Spire in Ashenvale) and you need to talk to Aldo Rockrain to get the quest to go on the wagon. He’s standing in front of about 8 troops or so in front of the building there.

THANK YOU! Not sure why but he wasn’t even there for me originally after you sent me to him. Once I stopped flying/dismounted he phased in right in front of me. No quest on the map, questie or over his head but he gave me one!

If you care about Loremaster you may have to do it on a character that is the opposite faction

I’ve already got the classic version of loremaster, I just want the extra ach points and to check it off, cata kinda screwed me in that sense.
