Is this an exploit or are we allowed to do this?
Blizzard won’t comment here on whether that’s allowed or not. I’m not aware of people getting banned by making use of similar mob pathing issues in the past, but that’s no guarantee that this is acceptable.

I doubt there is a problem with that - there are no bugs involved that are being taken advantage of unless season of discovery works differently than normal wow.
