This will be bugged for a number of reasons, one mainly being the character has completed the BFA quests and is in the wrong phased zone - This zone (Tirisfal) needs to be reverted with Zidormi to before BFA. Additionally if you completed the Forsaken Council quests in oribos with the title reward “Of Lordaeron” you will need to revert the zone, again, to before BFA with Zidormi. I got booted out and ported to Zidormi because of this. make SURE you complete the intro into boralus/Zandalar until you can interact with the map and get the achieve “Come Sail away” and this will allow you to interact with Zidormi if you get ported to where she is in Tirisfal. They REALLY should make this a Default that this zone is put to when Hallows End comes up but they don’t.

Same here. Quest freezes and then either ‘drops’ me off at Tristfal Glades or disconnects me. Gave up after three tries. Why launch the event if it doesn’t work?
For those like me who are unable to do the quest, go to Oribos and in the covenant changing area, pick up the quest “Eyes of the wolf” which will then port you to Brill in Trisifal Glades. Do all the quests there until the new council is created (took me about 20-25 mins on a lvl 70 436 ilvl toon), return to Greymane in Oribos and earn the achievement “Return to Lordaeron”, and Zoridormi will now appear on Trisifal Glades map. Go to Trisifal Glades (for me it still showed the destroyed Glades and she wasnt appearing on the map but I went to the spot where Zoridormi is supposed to be and there she was). I talked to her, went back in time and was able to do the Wickerman quest AND the bombing quest. You have to do this on all of your toons (at least I had to) but its super quick and it works 100% of the time, including boosted toons and Dracthyr.
Same here. Not sure what to do. First run I was ported to Zidormi, then I thought “ok, I need to go back in time, maybe?”. Since I was already there, went straight to finish the Headless Horseman quest.
After finishing the quest, went back to Zidormi and was sent to the present time. Ported back to Stormwind, and picked the broom again. This time I got disconnected and died inside Undercity.
Super frustratingly. Why not change the bomb dropping to Orgrimmar?!
[EDIT] had to run all the way to the wall at the The Bulkwark(?) and found a spirit healer there. Got rez sick for 1 minute and was teleported near Scarlet Monastery. Ran back to Zidormi, asked to be phased to the PAST. This time I was able to complete all quests. I’m never going back to the future.
I can confirm this is (still) broken. Please add my 430g repair bill to the tab this bug is racking up plus an additional 1000g for pain and mental anguish of my Elekk Plushie.
Edit: I was able to circumvent the DC by getting to Zidormi and having her reset the zone to its previous incarnation. Robert Zemeckis be d*mned; I’m not going Back To The Future anytime soon.
Can confirm: Talking to Zidormi resolved the d/c issue for me.
This is bugged for me on Horde side too. I get to Stormwind easily but no matter where I try to drop a bomb I get the “Out of range” Error. I canʻt drop a single stink bomb.

Got the quest to work properly the 3rd time I retried it.
Quest is bugged. Port to Undercity and get disconnected log in and fall. First time I died and was taken to the spirit healer outside of Scarlet Monestary. Second time managed to bubble in time.
So my fiancée and I had this same issue. But we figured out the fix!!!
1.) it has to do with which instance of Undercity your in. Pre or Post BFA
2.) If you your ported to Zidormi. Your on the wrong one. Talk to her and switch instances
3.) When you accept the quest… If your mounted you will teleport then disconnect.
So make sure your in the correct Undercity instance then accept the quest while not mounted!!!

Shouldn’t BE an issue though. Or the quest should be phazed out for people who can’t do it due to the time bug.
Yeah I’m someone who got a 600G repair bill because my hunter got hit by the same bug.
I don’t think it would need to be phased out; just add a Zidormi for Tristfall Glades/Undercity to the area where you pick up the quest. If you aren’t flagged for the correct Undercity phase, you have to talk to Zidormi before you can get the broom.
I think it only works for lower levels. I tried it on my Level 66 Druid, got dc’d, logged back in to be standing on a beam in Undercity, had to hearth out. Thought maybe i’d forgotten to remove shapeshift so made sure i was in human form, tried again, got immediately taken to Vidormi. Had to get back to SW best I could.
Tried on my Level 60 mage, flew in, dc’d, reloaded, fell to my death in the poison canal. released and hearthed away.
Tried it on my level 20 Deathknight. No problem. Worked as supposed to.
I think this is yet another case of Bliz losing control of their ability to handle phasing. If you are over Level 50 and are eligible for the phased Lordoran, you’re going to have trouble. Under that, probably ok.
editing to add that my mage was sent to the graveyard at Sentinel Hill. interesting. totally different continent, and close to SW. hmm. well, alrighty then.
Also, there IS a member of the Bronze dragonflight next to the witch with the broom, but he doesn’t do anything. He says something about the world having so many changes but they (bronze) don’t want it to spoil our fun. but he gives no options to change phases.
