I believe this week was for people with 2018/19 tax returns and direct deposits already setup with irs. Next week is supposed to be others like those who had to set up dd through portal and Ssi for example. Dont quote me though, there is so much misinformation out there right now.
They have to sort through them and look for fraud. If you’ve been doing you taxes well for the last 5 years then you should be fine.
That’s a little sad, for reasons I’m not going get into I might not get mine until next year so no I’m not checking except every month.
It is an advance on a new tax credit that will be on your 2020 tax forms. We do not have to pay it back at all.

As usual, it depends which news outlet you want to believe. I’ve read in several articles, he was the one who asked. Personally I don’t believe anything at face value anymore from either side. It’s all just a bunch of crazy bs.

But as a Canadian I got mine last week, saved most of it and allocated the rest for bills and food. Also it’s gonna be a monthly thing until I go back to work (or 4 months go by, whichever comes first).

I got mine but I have to pay taxes every year anyway as I make too much money so no it’s not really the poor getting their’s first. I’ll probably just buy more guns or something. Not like it isn’t my money anyway.
