Still worst plot ever

Watch Sylvanas will sacrifice herself for the horde which i think is a very lazy story. Yet people will be like omg did that just happen. I hope i’m wrong and they do way better at the lore then they are going, even so people want to side with a warrior ‘Saltfang’ that has lost his will to fight and betrays the horde. He become a traitor like its the right thing to do.
Sylvanas has not betrayed any of the horde she just uses the tools at her disposal. like us the players “heroes of the horde” .There is no honor in Saurfang, just lost pride, the will to fight and even his courage! You don’t go to the enemy and say i want you to stop the leader you defected from and say its for his horde.
Vol’jin was a revolutionary because his people and the other factions in his horde were not orcs, and discriminated against by Garrosh, Sylvanas has done none of that! If anyone should be written out of the game its Jaina and Saurfang for they are emo with no real logic to back them. Jaina hates all horde! What did Thrall do to her? Or baine? They were both her friends.
Saurfang betrays the horde because he didnt full fill his duty to slay Malfurian, or the alliance king, its his fault not the players of the horde or Sylvanas. even story telling would be Saurfang sacrifice himself for Sylvanas because he sees the big picture at the end, lol that would be funny just lazy story line.
But we all know Sylvanas is going to sacrifice herself for the greater good of her people and the horde, still cliche though. Baine has Honor unlike saltfang because he was warned to not have correspondence with Anduin and he did cut that off but later betrayed the horde by going out of his way to sabotage the war campaign, he is still honorable but just choose to be a traitor. And he knew he was betraying the horde he even says so in the quests. so i still like Baine though because he has not given up and sided with the enemies like Saurfang.

You have a really peculiar way of deciding if someone is honorable.

Personally, I don’t care whether Sylvanas is right or wrong. I count being a leader and a dumb goat at the same time as betrayal too, the worse one actually.

Anything is dumb if it involves Sylvanus.

I don’t honestly see that happening. There’s not an ounce of good in Sylvanas, and if they did do a whole “360” on her character i’d be disgusted. Ah, I miss the days of Garrosh. a harsh but honorable leader. the only warchief of the horde i ever respected and admired.

Lok’tar!!!

I’d say that’s more of a failure than betrayal. As I see it, betrayal implies intent. Being “a dumb goat” is more incompetence, especially since she didn’t make any effort to become Warchief (she was just as surprised as everyone else). To each their own though.

Lok’tar Ogar. I may be alliance to the end, But garrosh was the embodiment of all an orc should be. May he be remembered as the one true Warchief of the horde.

Well, you could say that she betrayed our trust in her leadership. “I did not choose this job” is a weak excuse in my opinion.

She’s not going to sacrifice herself for the Horde. But I bet she is trying to work the situation to defeat the Void, that’ll be her “redemption” arc. Only, she’s probably done enough at this point that can’t be forgiven by a lot of folks regardless. She does probably lose the Warchief title. Maybe Thrall or Saurfang sacrifice themselves to save Sylvanas when it becomes clear what she’s doing. Baine probably gets new Warchief.

I don’t know, that’s how they seem to be setting things up logically at this point if you follow along closely.

I just wish Garrosh was here to kill her honestly.

In another alternate universe… We are brothers.

We’re brothers in out hatred of Sylvanas in this universe.

One true orc Warchief? For me that’s filled by Ogrim Doomhammer. Thrall is a very close second.

Sorry, not to derail!

It seems to me that we’re in direct disagreement in what constitutes betrayal. As I see it, it’s about the intent of whoever acted (or didn’t). It seems to me that you’re more concerned with the results as they compare to expectations.

Though, I’ll admit I’m curious how you see Baine’s action of turning Derek Proudmore over to Jaina. He was successful, and most likely acted how his people expected him to. On the other hand, he actively fought Horde forces and willingly walked into a situation that he knew would make his people leaderless (one way or another). Would you consider that betrayal?

Oh my goodness please use spacing. That was a chore!

What a rambling! You think its the worst plot ever even though it hasnt been unveiled?

Sylvanas will not sacrifice herself for the Horde. You should know that as you appear to be quite a fan of her. Sylvanas has her own agenda that will be revealed. Id bet my Cat on it.

Here here. Garrosh is my favorite Warchief, before they decided to sacrifice him for the sake of story.

Anyone remember that quest like where he threw one of his commanders over the cliff for nuking a civilian outpost? He was the Warchief that the Horde needed.

I miss Garrosh.
