Still really frustrated about a few things

I guess some of this stuff was supposed to be for convenience’s sake, but I kinda got screwed over instead.

I was farming the non-combat pet that is Kadgar’s head floating in a ball. I eventually noticed that all my Kirin Tor rep had been averaged out. Meaning that although I reached exalted in Legion and got paragon rewards numerous times on multiple characters, I’m now sitting at honored.

Also got dragged backwards when they merged PvP. Because they averaged it instead of adding it, like would have been reasonable, or maybe just taking the highest, all the alts I had at PvP lvl 1 - 3 knocked me down pretty far. God forbid I try doing things on multiple classes. I’m also sure that I wasn’t just mistaken, because I had previously earned the bronze courser and gotten somewhat past it and it was still in mount tab.

I also noticed that after literal years, since Legion in fact, they’ve finally fixed some of the graphical errors on some of the battle pets. I know the pets aren’t super popular so they aren’t high priority, especially stuff that doesn’t even affect pet battle gameplay. But I’m paying for a product and I expect things to be fixed in reasonable amounts of time. I’m sure there’s a lot of stuff other people care about that I don’t, and I still expect them to fix those things for you guys too.

Frankly there’s a lot of little things that have taken the wind out of my sails. I’ve lost so much PvP momentum I don’t even feel like trying. When I look at the rep grind I would have to do to catch back up I just don’t want to. The story feels like some weird off the wall fanfic of the original content. There’s a lot of really cool ideas in the game that I like but that weren’t fleshed out properly or even fleshed out at all.

I have cancelled my autopayments, but I do still have 5 months left on my last one. Anyone foresee things getting better or have any suggestions?

The Kirin Tor was not a new faction in Legion, they just used the WoTLK one. IIRC, it had no paragon leveling after Exalted like the others did.

But there’s no way a standing with a faction would “roll back” to a lower level. Perhaps you mained a different char back then?

Finding this to be doubtful as well, but if someone can point to proof that this was how it was done, e.g. patch notes, I’ll stand corrected.

The rep you appear to be correct on, at least in that there’s only one. But I was also farming the rep on multiple characters and during late legion or early BFA I was farming all of the Wrath reps. But I can’t find anything saying that it wasn’t the case so on that I guess I’m just mistaken. I must have been spreading myself over more characters than I thought.

As for the PvP, I did in a sense get de-leveled because I got the bronze courser in Legion and didn’t touch PvP until the end of BFA when I noticed my level was super low. I double checked that I had the courser and checked both in game and on wowhead what level reward it was. I even tested to see if I could still ride it and I could. It does appear that I was misunderstanding the way the change was done.

The result was still that I dropped below what I needed to gain rewards I already had. So basically the same problem, except that the “price” was increased rather than me having levels taken away. Honestly still just as frustrated at what did happen.
