And we are still sitting here in 2023 reading tiny blurry quest text in a small window with no voice over. The main part of the game is reading black text on a brown background. Can anyone tell me why?

i didnt read them this expansion.
i know there’s gay centaurs somewhere in the storyline but i couldn’t tell you where they are. I just clicked the yellow thing, and killed the yellow mob.

Its both funny and sad when I find typos in quest text. Even after combing thru the beta twice to report them.

I remember this being a problem going all the way back to Cataclysm. NOBODY reads the quest text, apparently. Even though it is supposedly the main content of the game.

I’d much prefer if they invested in voicing our characters than hire people to read lines about how they need 10 bear butts tbh.
One of the reasons i’m really attached to my GW2 main is the fact i went through the entire story with him. He really feels like he’s part of that world.
While in WoW our character just feel like an outside observer.

To be fair a good chunk of the dragonflight ones were fixed. Like how “wind mother” was sometimes “wild mother”
Ardenweald tho drove me nuts with how often a typo or repeated words happen
And I’m not even a master writer / grammar nerd. I just know the basics lol
